00:00meanwhile one trade that did happen the best defensive tackle in the nfl and future hall of
00:04favor jeffrey simmons is now a member of the chicago bears and i think joe of all the trades
00:09that i've seen thus far this is the most impactful one i don't know that he's going to completely
00:13change the bears defense but you talk about a t-ball in two first round picks simmons the
00:19best player in his position earlier in the week i i sort of equated it like to you know 15
00:24years
00:25ago it's it's almost like you know a team getting war and sap in the middle of the year a
00:29guy who's
00:30going to get sacks and stop the run um i mean bears a little playing a little dangerous here but
00:36i think
00:36the bears look at that nfc joe and say why not us it could be anybody in the nfc right
00:40now yeah we got
00:41a huge matchup this week too or it's a test for them on the road against seattle on monday night
00:45that's going to be a must-see tv kind of game and i think you're looking at this too and
00:50you're
00:51saying look the bears defense so far has been pretty mid uh the offense has been very exciting
00:57but the the deficit for them is really the secondary now there's ways you can improve
01:01the secondary one of them is actually by improving up front as you mentioned putting pressure on on
01:05the quarterback being able to be strong up front and i think that's obviously what simmons does for
01:09you so that's a way of improving the deficit by getting a player who is up there in the trenches
01:14and
01:15we all know when you get to these playoff games especially you win and lose these games
01:18there in the trenches so this is a great move for the bears i think they should be all in
01:21i don't
01:22think the bears are done i think they will add some more help as well to that secondary uh maybe
01:27specifically to the safety position but um you know they lost year over year the turnovers that
01:31byard created and that was a huge swing for the bears even though defense wasn't great they created
01:36so many turnovers so their plus minus differential was so good so maybe simmons and the pressure he can
01:41put up front helps kind of reborn that uh or begin again that opportunity for the bears to be a
01:47little bit better in the turnover ratio there but i i'm dying to see what caleb williams can do
01:53in this matchup this week against the seahawks i think this is a real test the last test was
01:57against minnesota but the weather was such a such a factor in that game i don't know if you could
02:01take too much away from that so instead i want to see what this one brings especially with seattle
02:05coming off a huge game where they just completely stopped ken walker and the chiefs last week
