00:00If Instagram and TikTok don't change what they're doing, they're quickly going to go the way of
00:03Facebook, where they will be for an older generation because of the AI sloppification
00:07and the lack of trust. I could talk about that for a very long time. What does Instagram have
00:11to do to avoid that happening in your... It needs to flag AI content. It needs to have a very
00:16clear
00:16filter where you could say, I don't want any AI content to show up in my feed, or a very
00:20bold way
00:21of disclosing that this content was used or was generated with AI. Because otherwise, if you can't
00:26trust what you're seeing, you're going to stop having any interest in it because it's all
00:29just going to be garbage. I mean, we can talk about dead internet, but your question was,
00:33what do they not understand? It's that messiness is attractive. It's that things being less polished
00:38make them seem real and make them seem trustworthy, right? Because now you can create an AI image or
00:43video of anything. You can make it look perfect. You can filter yourself to look like an entirely
00:47different supermodel person. And Gen Z's experience out and they're over it, right? They want things
00:53that are blurry. They want things that are real. They love digital cameras, right? Vinyl is back
00:58because they want things that feel real. Pushing the edge of technology is not going to get you
01:02further with Gen Z. They want experiences that are real and they crave tangible, trustworthy things.
