Torched vehicles, overturned rubbish bins and smashed street displays were seen in Paris following another weekend of protests that erupted into clashes with police.
Footage shows the charred remains of a Tesla, bins overturned across a road and a worker pressure-washing a pavement. Graffiti-covered storefront panels and a shattered advertising display can also be seen.
The damage followed Saturday's demonstrations, when around 320,000 people took to the streets across France, including 70,000 in Paris, according to the Interior Ministry.
The protests, now in their third consecutive weekend, were driven by anger over soaring living costs, deteriorating public services and dissatisfaction with President Emmanuel Macron's government.
Violence broke out on the sidelines, with masked rioters allegedly throwing paving stones and incendiary devices at police. Officers responded with tear gas and baton charges.
Authorities reported 565 arrests nationwide, while around 70,000 police officers and gendarmes had been deployed ahead of the demonstrations.
Paris authorities also mobilised more than 1,000 municipal cleaning workers over the weekend to clear debris and repair damage to public spaces.
