00:00Arsenal claimed a significant 1-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield to strengthen their position at the top of the
00:10Premier League table.
00:11It was Kai Havertz who scored the decisive goal, converting Declan Rice's cross in the first half.
00:18Mikel Arteta's side ended a 14-year wait for a league win at Anfield.
00:24Here's what the Arsenal manager had to say after the match.
00:29Now it feels better as a manager because it's been such a long time without having this feeling here that
00:34we really needed it.
00:35We are extremely proud of what the team, the players, what it's done.
00:39And yeah, especially in the conditions that we arrived to this game, where we were after the defeat against Fleetwood.
00:46It looks like the end of the world. It looks like, yeah, what are we doing?
00:50And then you have to pick yourself up, understand that this is the beautiful part of this game.
00:55That's when you believe that you have done everything and deserve to win the game.
01:00Clearly, you are out of a cup and then for this later, you have to come to Anfield against this
01:05manager, against this team that they are in a really good moment and compete, perform and end the right to
01:09win the game in the manner that we've done.
01:11It's super early.
01:14I want to give credit to Liverpool as well, the manner that they play, the way they are set up
01:18to Andoni and what they are doing because they are a top side and it's very difficult.
01:24That's why I think winning here, it deserves even more credit.
