00:03Sometimes, animals taunt other animals, whether it's intentional or not.
00:08Have you ever seen an eagle taunt a crocodile?
00:11Do you think a crocodile would be intimidated by a troop of baboons?
00:15If you want to see danger in its purest form, keep watching,
00:19as we look at provoking and savage animals on the battlefield.
00:288. Wolf Hunting Bison Calf
00:31This wolf is trying to attack this calf, but the calf is gutsy and defends itself.
00:37It looks more like they're playing than fighting.
00:40When the mother bison comes running to the calf's rescue,
00:43the wolf's hopes of snatching the calf come to an end.
00:46A bison and her calf are pursued by two wolves through the forest.
00:50The bison calf must learn to fight to survive.
00:53As the chase goes deep into the forest, the two fend off the wolves,
00:57mostly because of their mother, as she never leaves her calf unattended or vulnerable.
01:037. Crocodile Attack Zebra
01:05Even though this zebra looks dead, it's not.
01:09But he's surrounded by three famished crocodiles that have a solid grip on him.
01:13He will need a miracle to get out of this situation.
01:16One of the crocodiles tears his face out, while another rests his head on his belly.
01:21It's time to call it a day.
01:22This injured zebra ends up in a mud pit, where two crocodiles set the table.
01:28They start tearing flesh from the zebra's backside, while the poor animal is still alive.
01:33The zebra tries to get up, but is unable to.
01:36The crocodiles continue their feeding frenzy as the zebra surrenders and lays his body to rest.
01:41Although the crocodiles along the Mara River are known for their enormous size,
01:45they can still bite off more than they can chew.
01:48These crocs went into a feeding frenzy after capturing a young zebra, and began devouring it.
01:54One of the larger crocs ended up with most of the unfortunate zebra.
01:58A zebra foal finds itself in a rough predicament, when a crocodile grabs it, and the rest of his friends
02:04join the feast.
02:05What surprises me is the presence of an adult zebra.
02:08A much bigger catch stands right next to the famished crocodiles, and they don't attack it.
02:13I know they're busy with a foal, but it's just a thought.
02:17Why is that adult zebra standing there in the first place, when he sees all the crocs around him,
02:22and all his friends are running like mad horses to the other side?
02:25I'm stumped!
02:27Number 6. Hyenas attack wildebeest
02:29These hyenas are obsessed with this wildebeest behind, and they cling to it with utter determination.
02:36I think this is the perfect time for the wildebeest to lay a silent one,
02:40but I don't think it'll work on a couple of hyenas.
02:42Because the horns of these two wildebeests are locked together,
02:46the hyenas take advantage of the situation, and eat the wildebeest on the ground.
02:50What a strange situation!
02:51Escaping hyenas is difficult enough, but with their horns locked, it's impossible.
02:56A single spotted hyena kills and feeds on a full-grown wildebeest bull.
03:02The hyena employs the standard prey takedown technique of immobilizing the prey
03:06by tearing into the soft areas of the groin, then beginning to feed while the animal helplessly watches.
03:13Many people despise hyenas because they believe they are merely scavengers who steal food from other animals.
03:19Many people are aware that they hunt their own prey, but they still dislike them because of their hunting technique.
03:25They lack the tools that big cats have, hence the reason for this, and they manage to feed themselves efficiently.
03:32Number 5. Lion attack on buffalo
03:35This lion pride battle is hard to take this massive buffalo down.
03:40The buffalo isn't going to give in to the felines without a fight.
03:43However, when it's one against ten, it's not easy to win a fight, especially when your opponent has big teeth
03:50and claws.
03:51I guess we all know how this is going to end.
03:54The way this male lion hunts this buffalo and eventually tackles it to the ground makes him look like a
04:00superstar NFL linebacker.
04:01A friend joins the quest, although it doesn't appear his assistance will be required.
04:06When two male lions rush to take down a buffalo calf, mom stands in the way and confronts the felines.
04:13They attack the animal from both flanks, and while one of them goes for the buffalo's neck, the other one
04:18attacks the body.
04:19All this takes place while the young calf watches his mom slowly being weakened.
04:23If I was the calf, I would run as far away as possible, so I wouldn't be next.
04:28But I guess the calf thinks his mom is playing doctor with two of her friends.
04:32What happens next is devastating, when a third lion sneaks up behind the calf and crushes him to the ground.
04:39Number 4. Cheetah and leopard hunting warthog
04:43Cheetahs are the world's fastest land mammals, but in this video, the fast cat must use all his speed to
04:49catch a warthog.
04:50I never thought warthogs could run so fast.
04:52The cheetah eventually catches up to it, but what a great run by the wild pig.
04:57A leopard patiently waits for a warthog to come out of his den, and when he does, the leopard ambushes
05:03the animal and takes it down in no time.
05:06The warthog fights and pushes to free himself, but I don't think it'll be enough.
05:11Number 3. Bear hunt moose
05:13This brown bear caught an adult cow moose in a driveway.
05:18The bear weighs about 500 pounds, and the cow moose was an older animal.
05:22After dragging the moose a short distance, the bear dug into the chest cavity, extracted the heart and ate it.
05:29It then left, but returned several times that night in search of the moose, which had been moved down the
05:34road by a state trooper.
05:36A bear is seen chasing a moose in the water.
05:39Bears are great swimmers, but for some reason, at the end of the video, the moose is still in the
05:44water, and the bear is way on the other side, walking out of the water.
05:48I guess the bear's navigation system and GPS broke down, and the bear got lost.
05:54This bear attacks a huge moose on the side of a dirt road, and after injuring its prey, the moose
05:59has a difficult time trying to get up.
06:01The bear is relentless, and it doesn't look like the moose is getting out of this predicament.
06:06Number 2. Tiger attack wild boar
06:09This young tiger jumps out of the water and attacks this huge male wild boar.
06:15The tiger is inexperienced, nervous, and indecisive, but gets the job done.
06:20The only problem is it doesn't kill the boar and begins chewing on its back while the boar is still
06:25alive.
06:26When this tiger chooses to try his luck at killing a wild boar in this video, you can see how
06:32difficult it is.
06:33The wild boar does not want to abdicate, and keeps resisting.
06:37Hunting wild boar does not guarantee success.
06:40Number 1. Baboon escapes from crocodile
06:43This video demonstrates a group of baboons can destroy a smaller crocodile.
06:48Not all the baboons are brave enough to leap over the crocodile, but a few are braver than others, and
06:54once they do, the rest join in on the frenzy.
06:57This small crocodile snatches a baby baboon, but the young baboon's mother jumps in and manages to grab her baby
07:04back from the crocodile.
07:06Unfortunately, the damage is already done, and the baby baboon is dead.
07:10Mum did what she had to do, but it wasn't enough.
07:13Eagle attacks crocodile
07:15In our thumbnail, these bald eagles send the air force to snatch a crocodile from the water.
07:21Two crocodiles fire a couple of rocket launchers at the eagles, but they miss.
07:25The bald eagles fly away with their prize.
07:28When a bald eagle takes a chance and tries to snatch a baby crocodile, Mum springs out of the water
07:33to fend off the eagle.
07:34The eagle took a big chance because it could have easily been snatched by the massive reptile, and that would
07:40have been the end for the eagle.
07:41Some of these animals went looking for trouble, and others were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
