00:00We were heartbroken to announce the passing of our sister, Nicole Taylor.
00:03We honestly thought she'd be healed here on Earth, but now she's healed in Heaven.
00:07We have some notes here, and as some of y'all know, she was diagnosed with breast cancer back in
00:122022, stage 3.
00:14It was an aggressive type, and her words when she first found out where God's going to use us for
00:19His glory.
00:19She fought it fearlessly, and she said we're not going to live in dread during all of this,
00:23and she even did CrossFit while she was doing her chemo treatments.
00:25And she responded well to treatments, and she was declared evidence without disease.
00:29Then after that, she was told it turned into stage 4.
00:32She tried not to live in fear, remained really hopeful, traveled, she tried to live life, she worked really hard,
00:38she tried to have fun.
00:39Around 9 months later, she had a more serious diagnosis, and after she asked the doctors her prognosis,
00:45they said it was around 3 months, and if the treatment's worked, they didn't know how long after that.
00:50I was there, and she replied to the doctor.
00:52She said, everybody's going to face judgment, and I'm ready to.
00:55Here's a video of her testimony in her early 20s on why she was ready to face judgment.
01:00Hey, my name's Nicole.
01:01I'm going to tell you my story of hope.
01:03I gave my life to Christ when I was around 15 years old.
01:06Before then, it was all about how good of a person that I thought I was.
01:09I was involved in church, I was in a youth group, I was in a Christian band even,
01:12but I never came to a point in my life where I really realized how wicked and evil I was
01:17without Christ.
01:17How much I needed God, how much He didn't need me at all.
01:20And one night at church, the Holy Spirit just began to convict my heart,
01:23and just began to show me how lost I really was.
01:25The best way I described the way I felt was, the Bible verse says,
01:29our righteousness is like filthy rags.
01:32God actually made me feel like filthy rags that night, and I'm so thankful that He did that.
01:36You know, a lot of us look at conviction as such a bad thing or a scary thing,
01:39but conviction is a blessing that the Creator of the universe would speak to us,
01:44that He would show us how much we really need Him.
01:47I'm so thankful that He did that.
01:49He actually sent His Son to die on the cross for us,
01:51and His Son actually overcame all of our sin.
01:54So He has the right to show us how much we need Him.
01:58When the invitation came, instead of playing the invitation with my sisters,
02:01I walked down the aisle for the invitation and just asked Jesus to save me.
02:04No special fancy prayer, just Jesus saved me.
02:07I committed my life to Jesus Christ.
02:09I repented of my sins.
02:10And I said, you know, God, from now on, I want to be more like you every day,
02:14but I need your help.
02:16God's given me so much purpose and joy,
02:18and I'm so thankful that I committed my life to Him.
02:20So if you want to do the same, I want to encourage you to do so.
02:23Me and Natalie have a similar testimony.
02:25What we would say the Holy Spirit revealed to us our sin and need for God.
02:29Yeah, we all have the same fate as Nicole.
02:31Are you ready is the question.
02:33She lived around a year after that prognosis,
02:35and during the time of the more extreme diagnosis,
02:38we felt led to not live in fear and claim healing.
02:42And God encouraged us in so many ways.
02:44He was with us, and Nicole, before her passing,
02:47she said she had so much peace, and we were really thankful for that.
02:50We were still shocked and didn't think this would happen,
02:53but we know she's not suffering anymore,
02:55and we have God's promise of ultimate healing.
02:57God's promise of ultimate healing.
