Brut met the people who had travelled from different parts of the country for the INDIA bloc’s “Chalo Dilli” rally. Some took early trains, some booked entire buses, and some arrived four days in advance to mark their attendance. By 12:30 PM, thousands had gathered at Ramlila Maidan. Later, news reports said lakhs seemed to have turned up. So what was the mood on the ground like? I stayed with them till the rally ended to understand what brought these people here in the first place.
