00:00But we will cut across to Sushmita Deb as well,
00:04Rajya Sabha MP now with the Bharatiya Janata Party
00:07in just about a minute.
00:08But viewers, I just want to put in perspective
00:11on what we witnessed in the last 24 hours
00:14because now it's a very fierce war of narratives
00:19on either sides of the divide.
00:21Be it at one end, the India alliance
00:25that came together in strength and in numbers.
00:28Now, they may be claims or counterclaims,
00:30but for many journalists who were on ground,
00:32at least Ramlila Maidan,
00:33and Ramlila Maidan has a capacity to the brim of about 75,000.
00:37And many journalists who were there on ground
00:39would vouch that at least Ramlila Maidan leave alone.
00:42Certain islands where there was sludge
00:45because of the rains earlier
00:46was pretty much packed to capacity
00:48and there were people outside.
00:50But once again, the capacity of Ramlila Maidan
00:52is about 75,000.
00:54One is just the fixation on numbers.
00:57On the other hand,
00:59it is also now, understandably,
01:02that the BJP and the government
01:04doesn't want to quite give the India alliance
01:07an upper hand where it comes down to
01:09building the political narrative.
01:11So therefore, what we have really seen
01:13over the last 24 hours
01:15is optics versus optics,
01:17narrative versus narrative.
01:19Even in the time frame of 12 to 5 p.m. yesterday,
01:22which was the given time for the rally
01:26or the time that was allowed by the Delhi police
01:31for the India alliance,
01:32even during that,
01:34you had the home minister,
01:36you had the BJP party president,
01:38you had Mr. Hardy Puri,
01:39you had even the Delhi chief minister
01:41attend various protests,
01:44rallies, sabhas, padhyatras
01:46in various parts of the country.
