00:00so many stories i mean people who would drive eight hours down the road complete strangers to
00:04find me and feed me um people who are taking me into their homes and have been very sick and
00:09have nursed me back to health and and you'll get it from the poorest of the poor i haven't people
00:15pulling me off the road they live in shacks built from car parts uh and all you know they just
00:21have
00:21to give you a bowl of rice and some water and talk to you on on the sides of the
00:25roads in the
00:25deserts of peru somewhere to hotel owners with more money than they know to do with um or just
00:32wanted to hear stories wanted to sit and talk um you know i remember being walking through the
00:39deserts in patagonia sorry in um the atacama desert and there's big long you know hundreds of kilometer
00:46stretches and and in chile for example one big road route five and everyone gets to know you on that
00:53road and then trucks are passing by and there's bottles of water just getting chucked out the cab
00:57window into the desert in front of me oranges and stuff and then another truck will throw throw some
01:02water out so i have this rolling support network i don't even know these people are they've never
01:07stopped to say anything but they just kept me fed and kept me warden through these dead things like
01:11that um and that would happen throughout the world uh so the world is has been my support network there's
01:20been some times where we thought we were truly up against it and we questioned how we were going
01:25to do it we always kind of believed in ourselves that we could figure things out
