00:00Hey girl!
00:01You mind if I sit here?
00:05Ugh!
00:08This is my body double.
00:15Hey Vogue, come on in.
00:17I'm gonna show you some of the beautiful,
00:20fabulous objects I've collected over the years.
00:23There's a lot of them.
00:24Come on.
00:29These are my bags, you know what I mean?
00:32Like, these are my bags.
00:35This is like some stiff leather, and that is cracking.
00:38I have worn these bags more than any other bags
00:43I've ever owned in my entire life.
00:44These, I'm like emotionally attached to these two bags.
00:48They've been everywhere with me.
00:50This is a gorgeous Comme des Garcons.
00:52Comme des, I can never say it right,
00:54and then I'm gonna get roasted.
00:55And I'm on Vogue.
00:57No!
00:57This green is a neutral in a way that,
01:02it just, it breathes life
01:05into every outfit I wear it with.
01:06This I bought at the airport.
01:08I was a little early for my flight
01:10out of Charles de Gaulle in Paris.
01:14I was like, let me just hop into the Prada store.
01:16Like I'm bored, whatever.
01:18Saw this.
01:19This is something I will not hand down to my children,
01:21because it's mine.
01:23Yeah.
01:24Babies are not touching this.
01:26Nope.
01:27And when I die, bury me with this.
01:30I don't want my kids to have it then either.
01:32Even when I'm dead.
01:33This is not a family heirloom.
01:34This is mine.
01:35This is mommy's forever.
01:37Okay.
01:38Ooh.
01:39Speaking of another thing mommy's being buried in, these.
01:42If something happens to these,
01:45I don't wanna think about it.
01:47You shouldn't think about it.
01:49None of us should think about it.
01:51Those are what some people,
01:52that's what my therapist calls scary thoughts.
01:54I wear them almost every day.
01:56I love them.
01:57I mean, look, they're just so good.
02:04My favorite shoes.
02:05I did just wear these in San Francisco,
02:07where I walked like 20,000 steps a day.
02:10And I have horrible shin splints.
02:12The shin splints are really bad,
02:13but these are truly amazing.
02:16They look good with everything.
02:18This is a tabby.
02:19I've walked miles in these.
02:21I think I bought these in Paris.
02:23And I proceeded to then wear them every day
02:26after I bought them.
02:27They are in really bad shape,
02:28but they're so comfortable now.
02:31I'm gonna have to figure out a solution.
02:32Like these are not gonna last that much longer.
02:34I need to figure something out.
02:35Actually, I do have a backup pair,
02:37but they're not broken in yet.
02:38And I don't like them the same.
02:39There's something about these.
02:42Anyway, let's go over here.
02:44The gallery wall.
02:47So the story behind this is that I did this shoot,
02:51this video shoot,
02:52and we wanted to have a self-portrait of me painted on the wall.
02:56We didn't even end up really using it,
02:58but it got framed and everything.
03:00So I was like, you know, let's, let's hang her up.
03:03But I absolutely hate it.
03:06Like I, I need, I need to go to a gallery.
03:10I need to go antique shopping.
03:11I need to go somewhere and find something else.
03:13You know what? I do like the eyes.
03:15Yeah, the eyes actually are fantastic.
03:17It's the lip, like the lips are just, I mess them up.
03:20It's horrible.
03:21Let's talk about something a little bit, you know,
03:24something that breathes a little bit more life into me.
03:28This, I love this.
03:30I got this at an antique store in Los Angeles.
03:33This is balancing humor and aesthetic.
03:36And what a cute little butt.
03:38Even got a little back dimple going on.
03:40I wonder if they put that there,
03:41if that was like a defect in the wood.
03:44Hold on, what's on the back?
03:45Y'all can blur this.
03:47There's like nude portraits of some women on the back.
03:53But on the, but here it's just the butt.
03:55This is like silly and cute.
03:56So I'm glad that the artist was like,
03:58I'm just going to commit to this.
04:00Let's move to grandma's paintings, okay?
04:02These two here are family heirlooms.
04:05And I don't have many heirlooms
04:07that go back like multiple generations.
04:09They were recently passed down to me.
04:12And I think my favorite thing about these
04:15is that I actually would probably have chosen these
04:22out of a bunch myself.
04:24Like this goes hand in hand with my style.
04:28Maybe taste in art is a little bit genetic.
04:31Love you, grandma.
04:32Maybe I'll try to Ouija board her later.
04:35And be like, wait, like let's hang girl.
04:38We're kind of similar.
04:40So I'll let y'all know how that goes in the next Vogue video.
04:46Let me take you to my drum set, okay?
04:48Or drum kit.
04:49I don't really know what the cool kids call it.
04:53Well, the story of the drums and me
04:56is that I went home to visit my dad
05:00at my childhood home a few years ago.
05:02And my dad makes music.
05:04I walked into my childhood bedroom
05:05and a drum kit exactly like this
05:09was in my childhood bedroom.
05:10Dad, dude, I can't even like walk to my bed.
05:15The drum kit's in my room.
05:16He's like, you gotta sit down and you gotta try it.
05:19And it was like, every time I was walking to my bed,
05:21you know, I had to like around the drum kit to get to my bed.
05:26And so I would like end up sitting at it.
05:27And then I kind of became obsessed.
05:29And I was like, wait, this is kind of fun.
05:31And I've been practicing and I'm making some improvements.
05:52Welcome to my kitchen.
05:57Something I keep in my kitchen,
05:59but I have some other cool knickknacks in here.
06:00Let me show you.
06:01One of my favorite vintage finds of all time.
06:08I believe I got this at a flea market.
06:10Could have also been an antique shop.
06:12I think I've gone on an antique shopping trip
06:14with probably everybody in my life.
06:16My best friends, check.
06:18My mom, check.
06:20Every guy I've ever dated, check.
06:25My sponge has a cute little house.
06:29See, this is the type of stuff
06:31that just brings me a lot of joy.
06:33Like this is a very helpful, functional item,
06:38but it's also really cute.
06:40Ooh, and both sides are different.
06:43So I can like, I don't know,
06:45I'd be like, I want this side out today.
06:48I've never done that, but I could in theory.
06:51Useful and cute.
06:54That is the recipe to fabulous home decor.
07:05Can I sit here?
07:06Okay, thank you.
07:09She told me she wants to be called Emma,
07:12which I thought was a little weird
07:14because I was like, hey, I'm Emma, you know,
07:16but she does want to be called Emma.
07:20So I, you know, I throw that around,
07:23but it gets a bit confusing.
07:24So we're working something out, right?
07:28We're working it out right now.
07:29I purchased her as a prop for my podcast set,
07:33which is in the other room.
07:35Basically the concept in my head was like, okay,
07:37I want it to look like the room is like mirrored in a way.
07:42So I want like a mannequin to be turned around
07:47and be dressed up and like, kind of look like me.
07:49And it looks like, that was the concept.
07:53It also could be cool to have someone around, you know,
07:57working alone, it gets kind of lonely in a room,
08:00recording a podcast every day.
08:03It's like, this is an echo chamber, right?
08:06I'm just in here talking to myself.
08:08And then I got her.
08:10I'm finding it.
08:11I'm finding it.
08:18Hey, so we have some real archival pieces here.
08:24Starting with my first Gucci shirt.
08:27When I was like 16, first started my YouTube channel.
08:31One of my first videos was me painting my own Gucci shirt.
08:36Cause I was like 450 bucks for a Gucci shirt.
08:42Mama doesn't have that.
08:43So I painted my own
08:46and I actually feel like I should start wearing this.
08:49But I also like now it's so special to me.
08:52I'm like, I can't wear it
08:53cause I will spill something on it
08:55and then I'll be really bummed.
08:57But I kind of nailed it.
08:59And I really, I'm a little, see doing the little,
09:02that was a, that's a legal risk here.
09:05You know, painting the, the little, you know,
09:08the trademark of it all.
09:09So Gucci, you know, I love you.
09:12Please, please let's not get into trouble here.
09:16You know, my intentions are good.
09:21When I was probably eight years old,
09:24I got a little jealous of the kids at school that had glasses.
09:27I thought glasses were cool.
09:29I lied to my parents and said that I was having trouble seeing.
09:33They took me to the doctor.
09:35I got a test.
09:37I was like, nope, can't see that.
09:38Can't see that.
09:39No. Ooh, what's that?
09:40Can't see it.
09:41Lied, lied, lied, lied, lied.
09:43Now insurance covered these bad boys.
09:46Juicy couture, pink.
09:51And I never really got to wear them
09:52because my vision was too good for them.
09:54They actually kind of work for me now
09:56because actually my vision has declined.
09:58Ow.
09:59God.
10:00Yeah, but these are...
10:02I had good taste.
10:06A slightly larger creation of my dad's.
10:09My dad's paintings are all over this house.
10:11They are everywhere.
10:12There's probably 20.
10:14For the most part, he does a lot of landscapes.
10:16He does a lot of them on location.
10:18So a lot of the paintings are of the place that I grew up
10:21or places that we've gone together.
10:23So not only are they painted by him,
10:27it's a familiar style and a familiar look.
10:29It's places that hold very, very special memories for me.
10:34So I love having his work around the house.
10:36In fact, I'm kind of in the market.
10:39I need to talk to him.
10:40I want more.
10:41I want more.
10:42And I don't have that much space, but I'm going to find a way
10:46because I want more.
10:49Okay.
10:49Now follow me to my TV room, office, random room.
10:56There's like no official title for it.
10:59Still working on that.
11:02Sorry.
11:04Probably I'll pull the rug back or something later.
11:07Probably should have done that before you all showed up.
11:10But anyway, follow me.
11:11Come on in.
11:15Can you guess my favorite movie?
11:18Yeah.
11:19Napoleon Dynamite.
11:20It shaped me.
11:22I've seen it hundreds of times.
11:25It was the only DVD I let my dad put into the DVD machine thing.
11:30What even are those called?
11:31I've learned a lot from Napoleon Dynamite.
11:34Number one, just go for it.
11:37No, not just do it.
11:38Just go for it.
11:40That's it's different.
11:41I also learned the proper amount of cheese to put on nachos that you put in the microwave
11:44and to believe in love.
11:47So do what you want with that.
11:52Yeah.
11:55Welcome to my bedroom.
11:59This is my Harry Styles.
12:01I'll introduce you formally to him.
12:02This is Biggie Big.
12:04This is my bestie since I was probably like four.
12:07And I used to suck my thumb as a kid.
12:10And so this is a little weird, but I'd suck my thumb.
12:13And I would take the ear and I'd like rub it on my face.
12:16Okay.
12:17I don't, I don't love sharing this information as an adult.
12:20When it's, when you're a kid, it's like super cute.
12:23As an adult, it's kind of like, ooh, you know, but just imagine me as a little kid doing that.
12:29Although I will say I did do that till I was 10 years old, 25 now, 15 years clean.
12:35I'm done.
12:35I took him out for this shoot because I wanted everyone to see him in all of his glory.
12:41Most of the time he's in a box in the garage because if anything happens to him,
12:47I'm not going to be a happy camper.
12:49He is immortalized here, but I need him.
12:53So I protect him at all costs, literally protect him at all costs.
12:57Biggie Big, I'll see you later.
13:00And no, maybe I won't put you back in the garage this time.
13:04Yeah.
13:06We'll talk.
13:07Let's move on.
13:08I'm really proud of this, to be honest.
13:11The dark circles, the nose feels kind of like accurate.
13:17I'm like more proud of this than I am of like 90% of what I've done in my career
13:22or, you know,
13:23nice things I've done for others.
13:24Like that all pales in comparison to this.
13:27I am so proud of this.
13:28This is going to be hard to top for me, but I will continue trying.
13:31I have sort of spent the year trying to chill and kind of reset the brain,
13:37heal the brain from consuming a lot of internet over the, over the last 10, 15 years, whatever.
13:46And one of the hardest times of the day for me, when it comes to managing my relationship with
13:53the internet is at night because I just wanted, I'm tired.
13:57I had a long day.
13:57I like told myself no more of that this year.
14:00And then I discovered reading cookbooks before bed, cookbooks before bed.
14:04I'm into it.
14:05In fact, we're into it or he's about to get into it now that I'm letting him out of the
14:10garage.
14:11Uh, yeah.
14:15Okay.
14:16I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to kick you out because Emma downstairs told us
14:22she's making us dinner tonight.
14:23She said it's a big surprise.
14:26Not really sure what that means, but I'm going to find out.
14:30And unfortunately you're not.
14:34Emma, Biggie, other Emma, signing off.
14:38Vogue, I love you.
14:39I'll probably talk to you soon.
14:40Bye.
14:47Bye.
14:48Bye.
14:49Bye.
14:50Bye.
14:52Bye.
14:53Bye.
14:53You
