00:00Given the NIL, the transfer portal, everything that's going into college basketball,
00:05I can't get involved in the futures market until I see what these teams look like,
00:10even from a wins perspective, winning a conference championship perspective.
00:14How are you approaching the handicap this coming college basketball season with all the movement?
00:19Well, Matt, it's really tough.
00:22And, you know, what I've tried to lean on is teams with experience.
00:26When you look at Florida and bring it back Condon and Howe and Chinnalu,
00:32they have, I thought last year, the best front line in college basketball, right?
00:37So they all come back.
00:38Now you get the court judgment that Denzel Aberdeen is back for this year.
00:44So you've got to start to look at teams in regards to who has a lot coming back.
00:51And that's where you kind of lean.
00:54Matt, I really think experience matters.
00:56So you've got to look at Florida.
00:58You've got to look at UConn getting those guys back.
01:01And obviously, I'll tell you right now, folks, if you did not watch Seton Hall last year,
01:06they got a kid named Najee Hines, a.k.a. Baby Shaq.
01:11Oh.
01:12Well, he is going to do wonders.
01:14Think about what Dan Hurley did with Terrence Reed Jr. coming from Michigan.
01:18This kid may be a little bit better.
01:21So this is a big-time recruit.
01:23So I'm going to lean on those experienced teams.
01:26And Matt, here's the tough part.
01:29Besides handicapping in the hell, we got court ruling, court ruling, appeal, appeal.
01:35Someone today could be ineligible tomorrow.
01:38So I think that's the hard part is I'm not really willing to put a lot of money up front
01:42now
01:43to start the year because we don't know who's going to be there.
01:46But if guys are going to be here, I'll tell you right now, St. John's at 30-1 is going
01:54to be a play of mine.
01:56All right?
01:56You get Ian Jackson back, right?
01:59You get Tessa Foo.
02:02You get him.
02:02And now you get Keyshawn Hall if he can stay, right?
02:08Keyshawn Hall, a dynamic scorer at Auburn, gives Rick Pitino his best, in my opinion,
02:14offensive lineup that he's had at St. John's.
02:17If they can get him to play defense and they can all play, 30-1 St. John's,
02:23I think they should be at 20 and not 15-1 based on who they have coming in.
02:29No bias there, right?
02:31No bias at all in the backyard.
02:32No bias.
02:33No, a little bit.
02:35A little bit of bias.
02:35I didn't say St. John.
02:37That's good, man.
02:38I'm from John.
02:38I didn't say that.
