00:00Mole is a dark horror game mixing Iron Lung's methodical machine operation with mouthwashing's
00:05reality-bending unreliable narration. The result is a very Eastern European Soviet sci-fi-influenced
00:11literal descent into madness with a strong cosmic horror vibe that's currently rated
00:15overwhelmingly positive on Steam.
00:18It follows the last survivor on a giant drill, boring its way towards a mysterious signal
00:23called the White Rabbit deep within the Earth. No one knows what it is, only that it messes
00:27with people's minds and was responsible for a widespread disaster on the surface known
00:31as the Matri-Oshka incident when it was accidentally discovered during earlier mining.
00:36In a last-ditch attempt to reach the signal and discover its cause, you're tasked with
00:41operating the drill via a very Iron Lung-influenced set of mechanical processes as you gather the
00:46coordinates and other details you need to correctly drill deeper. But as you get closer, the signal's
00:51effects on your mind only increase. It is a distressing story, so be warned, but one that
00:56manages to do it with sufficient gravitas as events slowly reveal themselves through flashbacks
01:01and revelations from the dream-like effects of the White Rabbit.
