00:01When this story broke two weeks ago, the Premier described it as a good example of good process
00:07working. Since then, things have only gone from bad to worse for his government. Claims
00:13that a bikey was trying to muscle in on a Torrens to Darlington contractor have blown
00:18up into something much bigger. Senior ministers under fire over what they knew and when, who
00:24they told and whether warnings were taken seriously. Today, more questions that go directly
00:31to the competency of the government and the South Road project team. Career Boss's contract
00:36has now been cancelled, but should it have ever been awarded to begin with? How many
00:41other contractors have question marks over them? What more can they do to find out what's
00:46really going on with the company? The Premier and his ministers say there are questions for
00:51the T2D Alliance to answer, vowing zero tolerance for issues brought to their attention. But
00:57any attempt to distance themselves may not play out well when billions of dollars in public
01:02money is involved. And with a civil case, a committee hearing, an ICAC evaluation and a
01:08potential parliamentary inquiry all yet to play out, this is a scandal they won't be putting
01:13in the rearview mirror any time soon.
