MacBooks for DepEd teachers, staff

Education Secretary Sonny Angara said the Apple MacBook Neo laptops for public school teachers and administrative staff are of high quality and very durable, citing the included five-year warranty.

He described the MacBooks as the best devices DepEd could secure for its personnel.

DepEd has acquired 172,654 Apple MacBook Neo laptops for teachers and non-teaching staff. The devices are set to be distributed nationwide from November 2026 to March 2027.
