The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) has released CCTV footage showing former House Speaker Martin Romualdez at the Quezon City Jail–Male Dormitory on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026.
The BJMP National Headquarters said its initial verification found that CCTV monitoring remained fully operational, with no recorded power outages or unrecorded movements. This refutes claims that the security systems were disabled to allow Romualdez to leave and return to his cell undetected. (Video courtesy of BJMP)
