Donald Trump faces potential investigations and congressional scrutiny after Democrats seize control of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Key issues likely to face formal inquiries include unreleased Epstein files, ties to foreign deals and crypto ventures involving Pakistan, and ICE enforcement raids marked by controversial deportations and deaths. Trump will also confront pointed questions regarding constitutional violations, the weaponisation of federal agencies, the dismissal of intelligence and military officials, and military strikes against Iran.

00:00Now, Gaurav has broken it down for you on how those laws can actually haunt Donald Trump.
00:05One of the issues is also that there could be an investigation against him.
00:08There have been endless controversies that Donald Trump finds himself mired,
00:12and one of those is Epstein and the fact that there's still a big tranche of unreleased files.
00:18The ties that he had with Epstein, some of those pictures that went viral, all of his comments,
00:24there could be an investigation into it.
00:26Losing control of the House and representatives, losing control of the Senate means
00:29that they will take that step forward of an investigation, of announcing a formal investigation against him.
00:35On foreign deals, on crypto ventures, here's where the spotlight will be on Pakistan
00:39and why Trump is so invested in Pakistan, helping them out constantly,
00:44because there have been some reports that suggested that, look, there are foreign deals in crypto ventures.
00:49It has him very, very keen on Pakistan growing.
00:52Immigration operations, deportations, the manner in which ICE has been acting,
00:57some of the steps they've taken deemed illegal.
01:00So far, there was no check whatsoever.
01:03Now, with the Democrats seizing the House and the Senate, there is that check and balance in place.
01:09The deaths during ICE enforcement raids, so many questions that came to the fore with these stories,
01:15with these videos, and yet Donald Trump somehow remained immune to answering any of these questions.
01:21That will change now.
01:22The Democrats will put up pointed questions to Trump on it.
01:26One of the big talking points will be on the Iran war,
01:29the consequences of this mid-term election result on the war, and how Trump goes about it.
01:35First of all, there will be questions that he will be made to answer
01:38on why he took the decision to strike Iran in the manner that he did.
01:42Was it at Israel's beck and call that America acted?
01:46Those will be tough questions that he will have to answer.
01:48He didn't have to, so far.
01:51Constitutional violations that he's been accused of constantly by Democrats.
01:55They'll now raise this in the Senate and in the House as well.
02:00Construction costs, funding approvals.
02:03These will come up.
02:04There have been questions of breach of power as president as well.
02:08Weaponization of federal agencies.
02:10You've seen it here in India.
02:11It's a talking point in America as well.
02:14Intel army officials, their dismissal, considered not to be loyal to Trump, booted out.
02:19And this is something Democrats have raised previously.
02:23Tariffs, foreign policies.
02:25Trump may be the executive.
02:26He can take those calls.
02:27But on issues like tariff, congressional support is crucial.
02:31That support is not going to be easy anymore for Donald Trump.
02:35I don't know.
02:36I don't know.
02:36It works well.
02:36But if it's true, it's kind of okay.
02:37I don't know.
