00:02but all those following Ike tonight know they need the perfect night and Luka Jovic three
00:11years at Real Madrid where he did pick up a Champions League Kylian Mbappe scored four
00:16times the last time he came to Athens Real Madrid's only win on Greek soil against Olympiakos
00:24so Ike hoping to uphold a very proud record here tonight facing Real Madrid on home turf for the
00:33third time Relvas and Jovic suggest he might have a point or two to prove tonight and he's looking
00:42to make early inroads against his old club Meyer across Gucinovic with the chance and Courtois is
00:48the first goalkeeper to do serious work one of their longer serving players yeah great run from
00:54Luka Jovic initially cut back was a really useful one from Meyer and that was a decent Makoudi is a
01:06genuine threat from set pieces Meyer will play it in it's into a good area it wasn't Makoudi who got
01:15there Meyer now setting an attack in motion Gucinovic to Jovic and here is Koita and it opens up
01:33an explosive strike from Abu Bakrri Koita and his history about to repeat itself bike against Real Madrid
01:45what a stunning goal yep Jose and his coaches they're looking at it just to come in together
01:57beautiful bit of skill and here's Luka Jovic
02:02it's out there's a gun freeze they want to really go for it
02:11and a minute out Vinicius and it's in
02:18Jude Bellingham getting a telling touch but I don't have to belling was he definitely offside there was one
02:26behind oh yeah that's the question I'm not sure there's anything wrong with this Bellingham definitely gets a touch it
02:32looks like
02:34Giammande Mbappe
02:38Bernardo Silva
02:42Vinicius Juniop
02:44Bernardo Silva again
02:46and now Kukurea well forward
02:48and plenty of whip on that what a beautiful finish
02:52by Bellingham
02:55well they would have wished for it however it may have come
02:58but an extraordinarily stylish equaliser
03:03from Jude Bellingham
03:051-1
03:06great finish I mean that's
03:09just typical of this guy
03:13he's such a good finisher and he's always in the box
03:16I mean look at that that is world class that that really is
03:21just
03:22Giammande
03:25on for Dumfries
03:27Pilios slipping
03:29and Vinicius Juniop flicking it across the face
03:32Rudiger
03:35the curtain falls
03:39and Real Madrid have found a way back
03:43a very stylish route back
03:44via Jude Bellingham to equalise after they were deservedly
03:51so away go Real Madrid
03:57and there has been an element
04:01Kamavinga
04:04Eder Militao getting involved
04:07and Brignoli diverting it away
04:09not a bad strike at all was he
04:11to prove a title winning team
04:14this is Mbappe
04:15just dancing through
04:18and Kukureya
04:19well it's Rota who vitally intervened
04:23a little bit this was the Mark Kukureya chance
04:30brilliant defensive work there
04:32I mean there's no doubt Kukureya should score
04:35I mean if he goes towards the post
04:37Bellingham
04:39and Mbappe
04:42shifts it
04:43shoots
04:45it's got a driving run by Kamavinga
04:48now Yandiamande
04:52Mbappe
04:54and relative comfort for Brignoli
05:00and Vinicius Sunil does hand the armband
05:03to the club captain
05:12and he may still get on the end of this
05:17Pilios flying forward in the inside left position
05:19here he is
05:28Stavros Pilios
05:30surging forward from left back
05:33has put Ajax in sight of a famous victory
05:41don't rule that out yet
05:43well they need to travel down that Roman road again
05:54Deermande
05:55Bellingham
05:57it's Dumfries
05:58and there
06:00swiftly
06:01is the equaliser from Mbappe
06:036 in 6 Champions League games
06:06and
06:09one of great magnitude
06:11and it's another full-back surge
06:14from Denzel Dumfries
06:16that proved vital
06:18Zinni again on his heels
06:19in this
06:20defensive position
06:23flaps his arms
06:24they're looking at others
06:25but it's he
06:26that has let the team down
06:27argue that
06:28but it happens so often
06:29with this team
06:30they turn these
06:30what look like defeats around
06:32into victories
06:34Hendricks corner
06:35and it was Edemilitao
06:36up and there's a
06:37a scramble
06:38Relvas
06:40bobbling around
06:41dangerously
06:42wasn't it
06:42in that area
06:45just couldn't quite grab it
06:47or get something significant
06:49on there
06:49lose Denzel Dumfries
06:50in the end
06:50who very nearly
06:53oh Hendricks
06:55well it turned out alright
06:56oh and it may turn into
07:01something really good
07:02it's Mbappe
07:05wow right Dan
07:07the pass from Hendricks
07:08was perfect to Mbappe
07:11it's a great save
07:12you know
07:12Brignoli just gets
07:14a glancing finger
07:15to that
07:19oh and Pilios wanted a free kick
07:21and Mbappe will go on
07:26oh I thought Mbappe there
07:28was gonna
07:29gonna apply that
07:30devastating finish
07:33well
07:34potential to catch them
07:35on the hop
07:36it's Hendricks
07:36and again
07:38a body clad in yellow
07:40and black
07:41between Real Madrid
07:43and goal
07:44Camavinga
07:46Espi
07:46is Zinni now
07:48for Eich
07:49when has he given it away
07:50will he
07:51manage to get a challenge in
07:53it's frenetic
07:54at the last here
07:55Valverde
07:56oh
08:00what a way to win it
08:02because that's surely
08:03what it will do
08:06Real Madrid's captain
08:08steps up to the plate
08:12and it is a heartbreaker
08:14for Eich
08:15oh
08:18they cannot believe it
08:20but I can
08:20I've seen this
08:21play out so many times
08:23before
08:24what a strike that is
08:26from Fede Valverde
08:28I mean he has
08:29absolutely
08:30flushed that
08:31and it's always going away
08:33from the goalkeeper
08:34he can't get it
08:35it's hit too hard
08:37and it's just
08:38fading away
08:40from Brignoli's hands
08:42and
08:45Mbappe finally retreating
08:46the distance
08:47or close to
08:51and the curtain falls
08:52on a night of great drama
08:54in the Greek capital
08:56it's like
08:56I am so
08:57home
