00:00What are some of those gems that really have stuck with you?
00:04That's a great question.
00:05I mean, I think a lot of it goes back to mentors I had or coaches I had.
00:09I think my college coach, Coach Bluter, is probably one of the most impactful people
00:12that I've had in, like, my sports journey to this point.
00:14And obviously, she's not coaching anymore, but she still stays in touch.
00:18She comes to all of my games.
00:20And I think, like, the thing that I really always probably valued the most
00:24is the way that she treated everybody.
00:26Like, you know, I was a star of the team, but that didn't mean she treated me
00:29any different than a 15th player that never got off the bench.
00:32And I think that could be true in so many different parts of our lives.
00:35Like, that doesn't even have to be sports.
00:36Like, everybody should be valued, and everybody kind of had a seat at the table.
00:40We always started our days at practice in a circle because it just meant
00:44that everybody's voice was important as a person to your left and to your right.
00:48And she just was really great at empowering people.
00:51And a lot of my teammates in college were never going to go on
00:53to be professional basketball players, and she was just as proud of them
00:57as she is of me.
00:57So I would certainly say her and taught me so many lessons.
01:01And, you know, when you get into the professional game
01:02and the professional world, like, it's different.
01:04Like, you have a shortened amount of time to build a team
01:07and build chemistry with your teammates.
01:09And so I think a lot of those things that she taught me,
01:10like, try to take into the locker room and replicate the best I can.
01:14Do you have a specific gem that you carried with me forward?
01:19I think, like, she always said, like, be where your feet are,
01:21and I think that's so true.
01:22Like, so many moments can pass you by.
01:24And, like, I can't believe I'm going to start my fourth year
01:27at the WNBA in March.
01:29Like, that's crazy to even think about.
01:30Like, everything just goes so fast.
01:32And, you know, whether it's the good, whether it's the bad,
01:35like, you have to save all of those with you,
01:36and you wear them a lot from him.
01:37And I think that.
01:39And then also, like, we always talk about how, like,
01:41everything's a two-day story.
01:42Like, there's going to be great moments.
01:43There's going to be terrible moments where everybody thinks you're
01:46the worst player in the world.
01:47But, you know, you play a game two days later,
01:49and I want to talk about something that's the opposite.
01:51So I think all of that is kind of what's built me into B&B.
