00:00There's a very interesting anecdote in the book about the days after Archie was born and you were
00:07on a flight to Germany with the then Prince Wales and Duchess of Cornwall. Tell us what happened.
00:12Well, I was very annoyed with the way we were treated over that baby. I mean,
00:18the baby was almost teething before we found out it was born.
00:21It was a stressful day, I will definitely agree. It all happened really quickly.
00:25We told at two o'clock that she'd gone into labour, but she was on her way home with the
00:29baby.
00:30And I thought that was mean because it wouldn't have stopped for them to stand outside the hospital
00:36with the baby like everybody else. But no, that wasn't Megan's way. So I decided, I was, I thought,
00:42you know, they're going to be a picture, but we're not going to be able to take it. So I
00:45went to Germany
00:46and I was the only one on the plane and everybody else was staying for the baby picture. And Camilla
00:54came down and we had a chat about it and she said, what's wrong with you? And I said, I
00:58said, you know,
00:59I think I'm at a terrible time at the wedding. I got no pictures at the wedding because I got
01:03pictures on an 800 millimeter lens, which the press association was taking from five yards away.
01:10It was terrible. I feel badly treated then. And I sort of, you know, I said, well, you know,
01:15I expected to go and do a picture of her and Harry and the baby leaving hospital. Didn't happen.
01:25And, and I just, but what I did do, I rang the desk and I said, as soon as that
01:31baby picture drops,
01:33send it to me and I'll show Camilla. Because they hadn't seen him at that time.
01:38Hadn't seen the baby. So I'm going to show the first picture of Camilla and go and show the print,
01:42she said. So there you go. But you didn't show him in the end?
01:47Yeah. Because I was told, he's not talking to his son. So I kept out of that.
