Wales are preparing for a crucial Nations Championship clash with Japan at the Principality Stadium this Saturday. Flanker Jac Morgan has been speaking to the media ahead of the Cardiff encounter, with Wales looking to bounce back from defeats to Argentina and South Africa. The Gloucester forward will be hoping to bring his impressive club form onto the international stage as Steve Tandy’s side target a big home performance. Japan will provide a stern test, with Wales determined to deliver a strong response in front of their home supporters

00:00I've been enjoying it. It's been a nice new challenge. There's a good group of boys there and a good
00:05group of coaches and yeah, I've really enjoyed the start of the season and playing there.
00:10Always trying to get better, even when I was back at the Ospreys and stuff, but just feel like having
00:20the opportunity to be on ball a little bit more, being able to carry out the ball and in attack,
00:26I think that's a big focus point with us.
00:30So being able to try and get ball in hand has been a big focus point to try and get
00:36better and obviously all the other bits as well.
00:39The players that are here have been training well. It's been great to be back in camp with all the
00:45boys and everybody's keen to try and get better, keep on improving and keep on developing, especially from the summer.
00:53We probably were a little bit disappointed, like you spoke about with what we know and a couple of others
00:59have said and we just want to kick on and try getting better.
01:02But I think we've been together a little bit longer now and we just try and keep on improving and
01:07keep on getting better and looking forward to hopefully playing on the weekend and show what we've been working on
01:14as a group and how much we've developed and hopefully make it a problem.
01:18We want to be competitive when we play and there's no better place for us when we play at home
01:25with the supporters and with everyone being there.
01:29It's a massive buzz for us as players.
01:33So we want to go out there and put a performance in for all the supporters I think we're proud
01:38of and they want to come and watch us play and everything.
01:43So yeah, it's great being able to have a few home games and that's a big bonus for all us
01:52boys.
01:52We know it's going to be a tough game. They're a great team and they've improved loads and like you
02:01said, over the last couple of years there have been a lot of tight games and we knew how much
02:05of a challenge it's going to be on Saturday.
02:09We know they're going to be quite an attractive team so we know how tough it's going to be and
02:18we just want to concentrate on what we can control and hopefully be able to get a result and a
02:26performance in.
02:27It's been great the start of the season with Gloucester, there's a great bunch of boys there and coaches and
02:32I'm just trying to play the best that I can for the team
02:38and for the squad and I've got to give credit to all the other boys as well. They've all been
02:42playing great rugby as well.
02:44That gives everybody the opportunity as well to play the best that they can. So yeah, I've got to give
02:50credit to everybody in the whole squad that's been training and playing on how well it's been going.
