Amidst the escalating showdown over alleged vote chori, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has convened a crucial strategy meeting at his Sunheri Bagh residence in New Delhi. Scheduled for Friday evening on Dhanteras ahead of Diwali, the high-tea meeting will bring together state ministers, party general secretaries, and state in-charges from Congress-governed states such as Karnataka, Telangana, and Himachal Pradesh, alongside leaders from Kerala. The meeting follows Rahul Gandhi's recent campaign visit to Sangrur in Punjab, aiming to review ongoing political developments and map out the party's future strategy.

00:05All right, news break coming in amidst the vote chodi showdown.
00:07Rahul Gandhi will now meet party leaders to chalk up the strategy ahead.
00:12He's called state ministers, general secretaries and state in charges at 5 p.m. on Friday at his residence.
00:19That's the latest news break that we are getting in.
00:23Pretty much of a Diwali Milan there where he has called at 5 p.m. at his residence,
00:28and state in charges, general secretaries and state ministers.
00:32I want to cut across to Moshmi.
00:33Moshmi, it comes in a day before Diwali.
00:36You know, some would say that Rahul Gandhi usually is not consistent.
00:41I think his own party will say you're being too consistent,
00:44at least right now, especially before Diwali.
00:46What's on the agenda?
00:49You know, this festive season, pretty clearly that Moshmi has been really politically charged up.
00:55and surely the leaders would have not expected that they will be summoned from all across the country.
01:04You know, state ministers, party, general secretary in charges of states,
01:10all these leaders have been summoned.
01:13That means essentially Himachal, Telangana, Karnataka,
01:17all the Congress ruled states, and Kerala, of course.
01:22You see these ministers pouring tomorrow for a high tea of thoughts with Rahul Gandhi at Suneribag,
01:28which is to chalk out the strategy ahead.
01:32And of course, when I checked with one of these leaders,
01:35they said it's a Diwali Milan on Dhanterak that Rahul Gandhi has called.
01:39So perhaps, you know, keeping up the momentum.
01:42Just a day back, he went to Sunrur for the Punjab campaign,
01:46and now he's back in action here in the national capital.
01:50All right.
01:51Thank you, Moshmi, for joining us with that quick update.
01:54We'll keep a keen eye on developments there.
