00:00Let's bounce the basketball over and get to the NBA here.
00:04Hey, man, Wim and Yama last night, 52-24.
00:08Jay White, this is Wilt Chamberlain numbers.
00:11This is like Jabbar numbers back in the day.
00:14I mean, incredible numbers.
00:16Right now, the leading candidate to be the most valuable player this year,
00:20but talk about that historic night last night.
00:23I mean, listen, for somebody, our viewer and audience that's a little young,
00:29when you say, you know, Jabbar and Chamberlain, they're like, who is that?
00:33So I'll give it to you in a way for you young kids.
00:36That was NBA 2K numbers.
00:38When you put the game on the easiest mode and you make every shot,
00:42you get every rebound, that was Wim and Yama last night.
00:46And what else can you say about, you know, what he's done?
00:49Listen, you know, it was the first time in his career when he lost in the finals
00:52that I think people were kind of questioning him.
00:56Not his greatness, but maybe his maturity.
00:59So what do you do to silence the critics?
01:01You put up huge, huge stats, and that's what he does.
01:06And you look at, man, listen, forget about Utah,
01:10because Utah, they don't have, you know, Nurkic.
01:14They don't have Triple J.
01:16They are struggling.
01:17But you still got to put it on tape.
01:19And he is playing like a man possessed.
01:22I thought going into this year that he was the best player in the world.
01:26And right now, the way he's playing, he's playing like Big Seals,
01:29that he's the best player in the world.
01:31I'm going to make a comparison to him to a little bit more maybe a modern people
01:35where they'll know who this guy is.
01:38Is he a bigger Olajuwon with the skill set that he has?
01:42If you remember back in the day, man, Akeem, big-time boards, big-time shots,
01:48big-time at the free throw.
01:49Block shots were one of the fortes for Olajuwon.
01:53Is he in that category when it comes to skill set and talent?
01:58Or, yeah, I mean, that's a good comparison, but I'll give you one better.
02:02I would take Olajuwon and Durant and put them together.
02:06Wow.
02:07Because he's a bigger Durant, right?
02:11If you think about his height, his ability to shoot the ball from three,
02:14his one-dribble pull-up, his way he can see over the defense, right?
02:17But then he's bigger and a little bit more, not bigger, he's taller than Olajuwon,
02:22a little bit more agile than Akeem.
02:24So if you kind of put Durant and Olajuwon together, and that's like,
02:29you want to talk about, like, aliens, unicorns, whatever you want to say,
02:32Haley's Comet, whatever.
02:34We haven't seen this before.
02:35I don't know if we'll see this again.
02:37But the key with this kid is continue to improve, continue to mature,
02:41and for the NBA's sake, just stay healthy.
02:45Because we got something that is not even generational
02:48because we've never seen it before in basketball.
