00:00In this quick video, you learn how to thicken objects in Bamboo Studio.
00:07Sometimes 3D prints can be just a little too thin.
00:11Click on the model to select it.
00:14Then click on the scale button or press the S key.
00:21Then change the Z size, which is the thickness or height.
00:28But now the whole model is way too big, because it was scaled in all three directions.
00:34Click on this arrow to undo the scale action.
00:39Now uncheck the uniform scale box.
00:45Enter a higher value for the height of the object.
00:49And you see it only grows into the Z direction, which is the vertical axis.
00:56This is an easy way to increase the thickness of your 3D prints.
01:03Click on the model to select it again.
01:06And click on the scale button or press the S key to go to the scale menu.
01:12Make sure the uniform scale box is unchecked and change the size in the X direction.
01:18It only changes in that direction.
01:20This model is not looking better by doing this, so undo the scale action.
01:24But for other, more simple models, it's a quick way to make them less wide.
01:28Let's preview the thick leaf model.
