00:00Deren, when we started working in 2022,
00:03I was just an Italian boy with a lot of problems.
00:07You didn't give me all the answers, you gave me a little bit of myself.
00:11You were one of my coaches.
00:13Basically, you were a little more than that.
00:16One I could believe, one I could believe, a person I could believe, a person I could believe
00:20Melbourne, the first slam.
00:22No. 1. Wimbledon, I could keep going.
00:25No. We've been through so much together.
00:27You told me you would stop after 2025, and somehow I couldn't seem to get rid of you.
00:33But the trophies aren't what I would remember the most.
00:36It's everything around them.
00:38The long hours on the practice court, the flights, the dinners, the love.
00:42Even the days when everything felt heavy.
00:45We were there for all of it.
00:47I always knew I was in good hands.
00:50Not just me.
00:51Everyone who travels with us.
00:53Everyone behind the scenes.
00:55With you, we were more than a team.
00:57You taught me a lot.
00:58That tennis is important.
01:00But that's not all.
01:01That being a good player starts with being a good person.
01:04And that complicated things can be simple.
01:07I hope I taught you something too.
01:09Like, how to hit a golf ball.
01:11I'm going to miss looking up after a big point and seeing you in my box.
01:16This season didn't end the way we wanted.
01:19But that doesn't change what we did.
01:21Or what these years mean to me.
01:24To your family.
01:25Thank you for sharing Darren with us.
01:27I know what it asks of you.
01:29I don't take it for granted.
01:31So much of who I am as a player and as a person.
01:34I owe to you.
01:36Five seasons.
01:37I won't forget a single day of them.
01:40Thank you mate.
01:41For everything.
01:42It's been a privilege.
01:46It's been a privilege.
01:47I won't forget a single day of the day of the day of the day of the day of the
01:48day of the day of the day of the day of the day of the day of the day of
01:48the day of the day of the day of the day of the day of the day of the day
01:48day of the day of the day of the day of the day of the day of the day of
01:48the day of the day of the day of the day of the day of the day of the day
01:48Thank you all.
