00:00Who are the most underappreciated players in the Premier League?
00:02In an era of wall-to-wall coverage, it's pretty hard to be underrated in 2026,
00:07but some players still slip through the net.
00:09We built a full 11 over on our YouTube, but here are the top three.
00:12Number three, Dean Henderson.
00:14He's in this team because even I, a Palace fan, don't appreciate him enough,
00:17so how can I expect you neutrals to?
00:19His presence and leadership was sorely missed by Palace at the start of the season,
00:23and we shouldn't be surprised.
00:24This is the man who was our best player against Man City in the FA Cup final,
00:28despite the controversial lack of red card,
00:30and captained us to a European trophy.
00:32An underrated keeper who has fulfilled his potential.
00:35Number two, Alex Iwobi.
00:36The second most played African player in the Premier League ever.
00:40100 plus appearances for three different clubs,
00:42multiple iterations as he has adapted to the wants and needs of the league and his teams.
00:46Iwobi may not have turned into the player many hoped he would
00:48when he burst onto the scene at Arsenal, but boy has he done well.
00:52He's also a top bloke and a great rapper.
00:54What can't he do?
00:55Number one, Ethan Ampadu.
00:56I think many have woken up to this now, but I'd just like to stress it again.
01:00Ampadu is brilliant.
01:01He is the glue at Leeds.
01:03Whilst Anton Stack garnered most of the praise last season due to his set-piece delivery,
01:07Ampadu was the man shouldering the expectations of fans.
01:10He had a really tough start to his career.
01:12A quintessential Chelsea Lone Army member
01:14and a disastrous Sheffield United Premier League spell
01:17could easily have derailed his career, but it didn't.
01:20He's here, he's Leeds captain,
01:21and he's a top Premier League defensive midfielder.
01:24Well in, mate.
