00:00Oh, we've got a heavyweight tilt as the main event with Cortez Acosta
00:04as a minus 225 slash 230 favorite, depending on your book.
00:10Johnny Walker, you're thinking Johnny Walker's not a heavyweight.
00:13Yeah, he is now.
00:14He was a light heavyweight, but he's moved up to heavyweight.
00:17He won his debut at the heavyweight division.
00:23So he gets Cortez Acosta.
00:25He's coming off a couple of losses, but he lost to Volkov.
00:28He lost to Blades.
00:30You know, it's always tough laying a favorite in a heavyweight fight,
00:34no matter who it is, actually.
00:36But especially, you know, when it's sort of mid-tier or lower-tier guys.
00:39I would call these guys mid-tier guys.
00:42What do you make of the main event here, Tom?
00:44What's your opinion?
00:45Yeah, it's a really weird main event.
00:47We saw Johnny Walker make his debut in the heavyweight division
00:50and just absolutely dominate.
00:52You know, coming off of his last fight at 205, that was extremely boring.
00:57You know, one of the more boring fights of basically a point-fighting match
01:01with Dominic Reyes where neither guy really was willing to strike.
01:06And Johnny Walker comes into his heavyweight debut and, you know, goes forward,
01:10lands a vicious knee.
01:12And that's – Johnny Walker has, you know, good size.
01:15He has size for the heavyweight division.
01:18He's extremely chinny.
01:19You know, we've seen him knocked out quite a few times in kind of funny fashion.
01:23Like, you go back and look at the Johnny Walker knockout reel, and it's usually a meme.
01:28Like, when he gets knocked out, it looks funny.
01:31I hate to say that because, you know, the guy's getting knocked out.
01:34But he does get knocked out, and it looks crazy when he does.
01:39You know, Cortez Acosta certainly has the power to put him out.
01:43And you kind of wonder, like, is Johnny Walker, was his chin compromised
01:47because he was cutting weight?
01:49Because he's a monster.
01:50I mean, he's like 6'5", 6'6".
01:51He is a big dude.
01:54So, he's probably cutting, you know, he was probably cutting 25, 30 pounds
01:57to get down to 205.
01:59So, we didn't really get to see in his first fight how does he take a punch
02:03at heavyweight because, you know, he finished the fight pretty early.
02:06Cortez Acosta is a guy that's, you know, going to really test that chin.
02:10Now, my question is here, like, you know, Johnny Walker, we have seen him in fights
02:14where he doesn't want to get hit, kind of makes it boring, kind of stays on the outside,
02:20throws those leg kicks.
02:21Cortez Acosta eats a lot of leg kicks, doesn't faze him, but he does eat a lot of leg kicks.
02:25So, could this kind of be, you know, where these two guys stand and trade, you know,
02:30from a distance where nobody's really landing a power shot and maybe be, you know,
02:35maybe a little bit boring.
02:37Both, they're going to be standing and they're going to be trading.
02:39There's not going to be, I don't think there's going to be any grappling in this matchup.
02:42But I could see this one going a little bit longer.
02:45I could see the first couple rounds being kind of ugly.
02:48So, I like the over one and a half rounds in this fight.
02:53I just, to me, I feel like Walker's going to stay on the outside.
02:56He's going to stay safe early.
02:59Cortez Acosta is not a guy that kind of goes crazy.
03:02We've seen him go three rounds in the UFC a number of times.
03:07So, when the knockout's there, he takes it.
03:09We saw, you know, a year or so ago, a year and a half ago, he was on a nice
03:13little knockout streak.
03:16But, you know, for the most part of his career, he's mostly stood and kind of point-fighted
03:20and found his way to victory.
03:22So, I think this one could, the overs in this one could be interesting.
03:26I do like the over one and a half.
03:28I do worry about that Johnny Walker-Chan.
03:30I mean, you know, that over one and a half could go down in flames.
03:34But I could see these guys kind of staring at each other for the first two, three rounds in this
03:38fight.
03:38Okay.
