00:00uh did you have about as much finiano as you could handle last night let's start with that
00:05was that are you finiano out here at this point uh finiano i feel bad because uh you know this
00:13this is the dream for a young kid at some point even when you really think about it and you
00:19know
00:19he works his whole life plays in college several years ends up getting getting thrown into a game
00:26last week and then you know going into last night's game you really didn't know what to expect
00:32i thought that uh it was a super bad sign early that derrick henry was taking direct snaps which
00:38i thought would happen but i didn't think it happened like on the first play of the game
00:42and that kind of told me oh my gosh like we could be in for a really long night here
00:48but you know this is a kid that has you know parents and like it's it's a it's a tough
00:53thing
00:53to see somebody's dream just get shattered because that's it like he's not gonna get
00:59another chance to play in the nfl like that's it's not gonna happen barring a catastrophe like
01:06what just happened last week where lamar jackson got hurt and and huntley got hurt and then that
01:11that put him in the game so it's tough for me joe to see that sort of stuff because like
01:17the emotions
01:17of what he must be going through and thinking i mean i i guess in the end maybe it's kind
01:22of like
01:22a baseball player who just gets that chance after all those years and you just basically say good
01:29bad ugly doesn't matter i he can always say that he got a chance to play at an nfl game
01:34but joe i don't
01:35know how you feel about it but i have i think i witnessed one of the bottom performances in the
01:40history of me watching football at the quarterback position yesterday finiano i it's not even the
01:46finiano aspect of it because i don't blame a kid who's been an emergency quarterback 25 years old
01:53you know never ever considered to be you know somebody that they would have to turn to they set
01:59them up to fail but what i'm more concerned with was the effort level that i saw from the ravens
02:07last
02:07night because that effort was pathetic given that you have a defensive minded head coach right this is
02:16supposed to be a guy that was going to elevate everybody in this organization it's it was harbaugh
02:22was the problem it was stale a message wasn't getting through everybody on that field knew craig
02:29that they had to play above and beyond last night and what did they do they shot themselves in the
02:35foot
02:36every chance that they had stupid penalties bumbles uh allowing a 60 yard parka washing to pass which
02:45by the way i believe you and i talked about so that did cash last night but you can't allow
02:50that 20
02:51seconds before the half like it just it was mental mistake error after error and then at that point i
02:58just
02:59watched this team crumble and pretty much throw the towel in and nothing that i saw last night
03:05leads me to believe jacoby brissette is going to come in and save the day here craig so you mentioned
03:12it last night maybe they finished 500 but what i saw was a team that yeah no they they the
03:20chips are
03:20down this team will fold in a heartbeat it could be but you know the other thing that we did
03:26talk
03:27about yesterday and we probably should really mention this is that you know that was the game that
03:32jacksonville needed to have and they had it you know like that's the flip side of this what did
03:36they do exceptional though what did they they didn't do anything exceptional but they were supposed
03:41they were supposed to win they were supposed to win right and they won but right but last night was
03:46not a game where trevor lawrence threw two picks and fumbled two times he actually looked pretty good
03:51he did not yeah i i i i mean i gotta say at this point you know jacksonville is unequivocally
03:58a top
03:58three team in the afc you could make the case maybe they're higher than that look they did nothing to
04:03beat indianapolis and they did nothing to beat uh baltimore those things are true but you know new
04:09england did this last year to a lot of bad teams also when new england ended up going to the
04:14super
04:14bowl so you know they're gonna you can only play who they give you uh but if you know for
04:19the jaguars
04:20i i think that they've established themselves as a force in the nfl top three team in afc top probably
04:26five team in the nfl or top six team as well and yeah i mean obviously for the ravens it's
04:32you know
04:32the fight to be 500 which is you know honestly a little silly it would probably be in their best
04:36interest
04:37to uh you know at this point just try to chase a draft pick but i suppose every team can't
04:43do that in
04:43the nfl and as i said it's really hard to sell the fan base on that game against pittsburgh that
04:48you
04:48don't care because that rivalry is just so intense but brissette will help he'll he'll put up some
04:53stats in the second half of games that that make the games appear to be closer ravens defense wasn't
04:59really good yesterday either uh you know i i got the sense unfortunately and these guys are
05:04professionals so it shouldn't happen but i got the sense that once they saw that they had no chance
05:09they just packed it you know like that's the way it felt to me is watching that i know we
05:13all knew
05:14in the second half the game was over and the ravens really let you know that on defense that the
05:18game
05:19was over too so yeah i i want to give credit to the jaguars for you know back-to-back
05:24weeks crushing
05:25two bad teams in the nfl doing what they're supposed to do dallas can't do that the rams can't do
05:31that
05:31but jacksonville can so i like what i'm seeing from them
05:34you
