00:00Mbappe for PSG tonight, it was a casualty of last week's Coupe de France final, he now faces a fight
00:07to be fit for the Champions League, and if it's a fight you want, look at the PSG midfield tonight,
00:11Marquinhos, Gay, Ambarati, all selected, Neymar, Icardi, and Di Maria, the three frontmen.
00:22As for Lyon, well, they've got Anthony Lopez in goal, which wasn't the original plan, a three-man defensive unit
00:29for Lyon, allows the inclusion of Maxence Kakere in a ball-playing midfield, up front Memphis Depayre plays for the
00:36first time since injuring knee ligaments back in December, could he prove the difference for Lyon tonight?
00:46By Gangol, his backer, Neymar, scorer of the goal that defeated St. Etienne and the first to test Anthony Lopez
01:00tonight, Devage, didn't make his Ligue 1 debut until February, corner taken quickly by PSG here, Neymar gets it back
01:11from Thiago Silva,
01:12and Neymar curls one just wide, well, Neymar almost effortlessly stroking that one into the back of the net, Lopez
01:27did not have it covered,
01:30a matter of inches, Cornet, plenty in the middle, second cross was a little better, there's Depayre,
01:46Depayre,
01:50neatly done,
01:52Noir joining in,
01:54Neymar Eich with the final effort but rather sliced off the outside of his boot,
02:00looking for his first goal in French football,
02:04looking for his first goal in French football,
02:04Verratti,
02:07Oh, lovely ball, chance for Riccardi,
02:10in the corner then,
02:13Depayre takes it,
02:16Navas forced into the save,
02:18Slap,
02:20Verratti,
02:26Neymar goes alone but no one at the far post to tuck it away,
02:32Icardi was up there,
02:34Idrissa Gueye,
02:38up for goal,
02:39and forced a very good save out of Lopez,
02:43and Leon goalkeeper will not have been expecting that shot,
02:4830 yards out here,
02:50Idrissa Gueye,
02:53he's only got one goal for PSG so far but that is a splendid stop from Lopez,
03:00really caught it sweetly,
03:04nice one for the cameraman that,
03:06it's Depayre,
03:08three minutes to be added,
03:09as Dubois got round the back and what a chance that was for a while,
03:13I think he expected it to arrive at his feet,
03:18and now Di Maria could be through for PSG,
03:21but he doesn't connect with,
03:26it's towards Denea but his header off target,
03:30and in all likelihood that is probably our last chance of seeing a goal in the first half here,
03:40Leon will be encouraged with the way,
03:42and will play extra time if necessary tonight,
03:49here's Maxwell Cournet for Leon, back to Jose Moura,
03:52goal kick,
03:59giving away,
04:00straight to Ongel Di Maria who has Neymar Anacardi up there with him,
04:04talk about a fearsome front three,
04:06here's Neymar,
04:09Lopez got there first,
04:15Depay,
04:19Dimbele,
04:21taking on Kizawa,
04:23here's Memphis Depay,
04:24deflected,
04:25and just wide,
04:29best chance of the game,
04:31for Memphis Depayre and Leon,
04:35huge deflection on it,
04:38Kayla Navas would have been helpless,
04:41and was,
04:44on the other end,
04:45Lopez in charge of the situation,
04:52putting the arms out Neymar,
04:54over the wall,
04:55and beaten away by Lopez,
04:59would have taken a very special free kick to beat him from out there,
05:04and he wouldn't put it past Neymar,
05:09developing quite a duel between himself and Lopez here,
05:17relatively comfortable there in truth,
05:19but maybe he was withdrawn out of caution,
05:23there's Mitchell Backer,
05:25deflection on the cross,
05:27very nearly let in Sarabia,
05:3310 minutes left in the 90,
05:36plenty of time,
05:38for Leon to find a winning goal,
05:41Thiago Mendes,
05:42beaten away by Kayla Navas,
05:47fine effort from the Leon man,
05:51to score for this new club,
05:56much,
05:57when it comes to,
05:59putting in the extra yards at the end here,
06:02now,
06:07come Leon,
06:09oh, comfortable save in the end,
06:12now Mitchell Backer,
06:15PSG looking to win it right at the death here,
06:18Neymar,
06:22Carrera's ball in,
06:24Neymar's header tipped away beautifully,
06:29Lopez denies Neymar again,
06:32it's been the duel of the night,
06:34in the Stade de France,
06:37everything that Neymar,
06:38has thrown at Lopez,
06:40the Leon goalkeeper,
06:41has been equal to,
06:49looks like it's,
06:52here's Verratti,
06:55oh, decent ball in,
06:56saved by Lopez,
06:58with Sarabia lurking,
07:01mistakes will creep in,
07:03as fatigue increases,
07:05as Angel Di Maria,
07:07lines one up here,
07:08and it's pushed away by Lopez,
07:11and PSG showing there,
07:12plenty of individual brilliance that could,
07:15win the day,
07:17but Traore could be in here for Leon,
07:19it's Bertrand Traore,
07:20deflected,
07:21and deflected just wide,
07:26could be taken away from them here,
07:31Anderson up from the back,
07:33and going down,
07:34and the shot fired in by Cornet,
07:36another 90 seconds here,
07:38if we are to go to a penalty shootout,
07:41that's a decent ball from Neymar,
07:44oh, that was a dubious looking challenge,
07:47on Di Maria,
07:48and it is a red card,
07:52a rye grin on the face of Raphael,
07:55who's not been on the pitch long,
08:00Leon reduced to ten men,
08:02right at the end here,
08:03and was it inside or outside,
08:06well I think that's inside,
08:07isn't it?
08:12Very difficult to tell,
08:15Raphael with a desperate lunge,
08:18right at the end of the game,
08:20maybe it's just outside the box,
08:25and the referee,
08:29Neymar won't pass up this opportunity,
08:31will he?
08:33Last chance for PSG to win it,
08:38without the need for penalties,
08:40it's Neymar over the wall,
08:42but well over the crossbar,
08:44and he will have to hope that that's not a sign,
08:47Anderson is short on confidence,
08:49after a poor first season at the club,
08:51he's going to take this one though,
08:53and he smashed it in with no motion,
08:55you'd back him from 12 yards ordinarily,
08:59Di Maria,
09:00scores,
09:05he will take Leon's second kick,
09:08Havas dancing around on his line,
09:10and somehow he couldn't quite,
09:13Varatti will try and prove wrong those that question his temperament,
09:18Varatti, beautifully done,
09:2220 years of age,
09:24Kakaray,
09:26against Kayla Navas,
09:30and he finds the net,
09:3318 months after arriving,
09:35his biggest moment,
09:37in a PSG shirt,
09:39sees him behind the net,
09:42target,
09:49Thiago Mendez,
09:50into the roof of the net,
09:53all the pressure,
09:55is on,
09:56Ander Herrera,
09:59you wouldn't know it,
10:01blasted in,
10:04sharp intake of breath,
10:07from the young midfielder,
10:09It's a walk,
10:11and he scores,
10:13Neyman,
10:16Lopes,
10:18trying to stare down the Brazilian,
10:21who takes the weaving route,
10:23the stutter,
10:25the strike,
10:25and a slow roller in,
10:28Lopes again,
10:29guesses wrong,
10:30and we're going to extra kick,
10:31spectators right now,
10:33and now the Berkanavi substitute,
10:36steps in,
10:38a short approach,
10:42and denied,
10:44Navas reads,
10:45Navas saves,
10:47so an opportunity,
10:49for Pablo Sarabia,
10:50to wrap it up,
10:51for PSG,
10:54and they have done it again,
10:58victorious,
10:59at the Stade de France,
11:00for the second time,
11:01in eight days,
11:03winners,
11:04of the 2020,
11:06Coupe de la Ligue,
11:07on a penalty shootout,
11:10celebrating these trophies,
11:12on successive Friday nights,
11:13that is where they learn from,
11:13thanking DIRECTION for the week,
11:13and giving out their legs,
11:13creating their religions,
