00:00When we say animal rights, it sounds like animal's problem.
00:06Animals have existed since long before us.
00:11So we are actually nobody to grant them rights.
00:17They were here since billions of years.
00:21Mankind, the human being, as we know, the thinking animal,
00:26has been here only since some 50, 70,000 years.
00:30We were not there at all.
00:32So their rights are existential.
00:37Because they exist, they have rights,
00:38and they will never assert or proclaim their rights.
00:42The question then is not about animals.
00:44The question is about the human being
00:49who is exploitative and violent,
00:51and is violent not just towards animals,
00:54but towards everything on the planet and in the universe,
00:59including the self, the body, the mind, everything,
01:04the wife, the kid, the pet, the nation, the environment,
01:10everything and everybody.
01:11Animals' rights will have to be seen in context
01:16of the one who violates their rights.
01:20If the violator is not there,
01:22animals do not need rights against each other, do they?
01:27Animals also don't need rights against the weather,
01:30the climate, the river, the hill.
01:32Animals need no rights at all.
01:34So the discussion must shift to man, not animals.
01:40The discussion must bring the spotlight on man.
01:47The discussion must be seen in the future.
01:48The discussion must be seen in the future.
