00:00We have looked at every denim outfit on the runways. These will be the biggest denim trends
00:03of 2027. The first denim trend that really caught our eye is that distressed denim is back. So at
00:08Balenciaga it was these thick rip detailing that ran from the waistband down to the knee. At Dior
00:13it was this also really raised design that almost looked like fringing. We saw lots of ripped jeans
00:17coming through at Arge, we saw them at Ralph Lauren as well. And then styling wise in some
00:21instances it was that very classic 90s grunge sort of finish but also in plenty of instances we saw
00:26designers really move the trend forward by pairing it with some of next season's key silhouettes like
00:31fur trim collars, really thick tweeds as well. I think this is really indicative of this high low
00:35approach to denim styling that we're going to be seeing a lot of from next year. The next denim
00:39trend we saw a lot of was this really high shine denim. So at Acne and at Diesel the denim
00:43had this
00:44thick coating that gave it this almost liquid like effect. We also saw Gucci play with the trend as
00:48well. They took a bit more of a restrained approach but they still had this really coverable sheen
00:52coming through. I think that because denim is such an enduring fabrication this really moves it forward
00:57it gives it a much more elevated kind of playful finish. I think we'll start to see a lot more

01:01this throughout party season. I think it'll continue to grow legs in 2027. Another surprising jeans trend
01:06about to take off is embellished jeans. So Connor Ives and Stella McCartney were amongst some of the key
01:10designers pushing this trend forward. We saw some jeans shop with feather detailing throughout, some had
01:15these brooch details on them as well, some jeans were so decorated they resembled jewelry. I think that if
01:20you've always found jeans a little on the boring a little predictable side this is one to keep your
01:24eye on. I think we're going to be seeing a lot more of it very soon. If you want to
