Finance Ministry says BR1M is a ‘gift’ to those who need it

Gift, animal feed or bribe? Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Othman Aziz explained in Parliament on Wednesday that the 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M) is a “gift” from the Government to help the poor people cope with rising cost of living.
