The Karnataka Youth Congress distributed a steroid called Dexahim in their Covid-19 home isolation kits in Bengaluru, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) state convenor Prithvi Reddy alleged. Within the medical fraternity, there is a growing consensus against the use of corticosteroids like dexamethasone, a potent anti-inflammatory drug, without medical supervision and for patients who have non-severe Covid-19.
