00:08This morning a shocking incident happened in East Delhi at Ashok Nagar
00:14where a person was beaten to death by these woods that you are seeing on your screens right now.
00:20The accused and the victim, both of them have still not been identified by the Delhi police.
00:26Now what transpired over here at basically approximately 5 a.m. in the morning
00:31two people were actually seen beating one person over here in Mayur Vihar area.
00:38Post that the guard who was present over here tried to intervene
00:42but the guard was also shooed away by those people and they managed to flee from this spot.
00:48At this point in time the Delhi police has gone ahead and collected forensic samples from this entire spot
00:54and if I could just give you a sense of these visuals
00:56that there are bloodstains that are still present over here.
01:00There are markings from shock that has been done over here to identify and mark the exact crime scene.
01:07It is still not clear that what was the exact reason
01:10due to which such a massive, massive incident has happened out here in the national capital.
01:16The Delhi police has gone ahead and seized the CCTV footages from the nearby areas and vicinity
01:22trying to identify the accused and also trying to figure out as to from what direction did the accused come

01:28and what direction did they leave.
01:30At this point in time both the accused have not been identified.
01:34Police is trying to identify the deceased as well.
01:37Once that happens it remains to be seen how quickly can the Delhi police
01:40can actually go ahead and ensure that both these accused are taken into custody at the earliest
01:47so that somewhere or the other the sense of fear that is amongst the locals over here
01:52or the confidence on the administration or the police officials that has gone down
01:56that could be reinstalled amongst the people over here out here in Ashok Nagar.
