A political furore has erupted in Kerala following a Catholic priest’s polarizing church address in which he accused extremists of targeting non-Muslim youth through ‘love jihad’ and ‘narcotic jihad’.
Pala Bishop Mar Joseph Kallarangatt had alleged that jihadists were trying to sow the seeds of communalism and intolerance in Kerala and forcibly converting people belonging to other religions.
