Panel proposes GST rate slabs rejig; Markets end 4-day losing streak, Nifty reclaims 17,500 mark; more

The Fitment Committee has proposed raising multiple GST slabs. Sources suggested that they have proposed raising the 5% tax slab to 7% and the 18% slab to 20%.
