00:00 For us it's really another PR stunt, another gimmick by the government, who is not serious
00:05 about addressing the real issues, who is not serious about coming up with a solution and
00:12 try to scapegoat migrants, to divert attention from other issues.
00:17 And you know, we're heading towards election, we know why migrants are being used again
00:23 to win votes.
00:25 And we just need to remind people who stunt seekers are, they're people like you and I,
00:30 who had homes and families and lives and jobs and careers and they were forced to leave
00:35 their homes because of war or persecution.
00:38 And they come to our country asking us for protection.
00:42 And this is not the right way to treat people.
00:44 It's another attempt from the government to stop offering protection to people seeking
00:50 protection.
00:52 To try to get out of the United Convention for the Protection of Refugees and other international
00:58 conventions and to create its own rules.
01:00 It's really the end of protection as we know it in the UK.
01:04 This is the end of us in the UK offering protection to people fleeing safety, fleeing for their
01:09 safety, fleeing wars and persecution.
01:11 You know, it's an accident, isn't it, waiting to happen?
01:15 And it's just, it's beyond us.
01:17 We just don't understand why would the government want to go ahead against the advice of people
01:23 like the fire brigade.
01:24 And just remember the fire brigade, they're not only worried, concerned about the health
01:27 and safety of the stunt seekers who are going to be placed there.
01:31 They are worried about their own stuff because it's also unsafe for the officials to go inside
01:37 to address any emergency.
01:40 So I think it's just beyond us.
01:41 That's why I said this is PR stunt.
01:43 I mean, it's not safe and it's another way to show, to use, exploit, you know, vulnerable
01:52 group for political gains.
