00:00 Good morning to everyone present here today. Thank you very much, President Lula.
00:07 Thank you, President Lula, and thank you as well to everyone who has made possible this summit here today.
00:23 The fourth summit held here in Belém. Cities are made in order to enjoy a settled life,
00:30 and the fourth summit held here in Belém. Cities are made in order to enjoy a settlement
00:54 for people to develop and live properly. These cities have also the opportunity of sharing
01:22 natural space.
01:29 Hamazanic cities are normally isolated when dealing with this environmental problem, and
01:38 what needs to be understood is that we need to listen to the voices of these cities in
01:47 order to be able to find a solution for the hamazanic problem.
01:54 Last month in this forum, leaders from different localities gathered here to discuss the hamazanic
02:13 problem. They also took into account not only the indigenous people, but also the hamazanic
02:20 urban area. In this meeting, we proposed plans for a solution for the hamazanic problem.
02:31 In this meeting, we proposed plans for guaranteeing the rights of the people who live both in
02:38 indigenous areas and urban localizations, which have both equal rights and need to be listened
02:58 to and heard. Local authorities need to be aware of the situation these communities are
03:05 facing.
03:20 We need to share a common space for sharing thoughts regarding social problems and economic
03:27 problems, especially the ones that our territories and our people are dealing with.
03:47 We have a long way until 2030, but I'm sure that all the investigations and the treaties
03:54 that we have created and developed in the past years and the past meetings will
04:01, in the future, be able to be used to create solutions for the hamazanic problem.
04:09 I'm sure that all the investigations and the treaties that we have created and developed
04:16 in the past years and the past meetings are going to be able to solve these problems and
04:33 are included in the schedules of other meetings and other organizations who deal with these
04:40 problems.
04:44 I'm also sure that in this summit, we'll be able to create politics to protect the rivers,
04:57 the countries, mountains of our people. We wish luck to all the presidents present here
05:04 in this summit when solving all these problems.
