ROCKY, better known as RockyNoHands is an online gamer. At 19 years old he was paralysed from the neck down after an accident. He explained to Love Don't Judge: "I was at a party wrestling around with this kid and he just dropped me on my head and I broke my neck." The incident changed his life forever, "before that, I had two, almost three jobs, I had a lot of friends, was the captain of a hockey team, and after I broke my neck all that was gone. So, over the years I had to find new things to do, new hobbies, a new career and new friends," he said. Rocky now has a successful career streaming himself playing video games with just his mouth, using a device called a Quad Stick. He first came to know his now fiancé Jacquelyn in 2017. We first met online through Twitch, someone from our community gifted us subs to each other. Me and my buddies were on a Discord call and they started saying you should ask her if she wants to play Fortnite and they dared me, so I did it and she said yes," Rocky explained. "The rest is history," Jacquelyn quipped. The pair fell in love online and eventually met in person when she travelled from her home on the Gold Coast to Michigan to meet Rocky. They were dating long-distance, but once the COVID lockdowns hit they were separated for two years. Jacquelyn eventually decided to permanently move to the US to be with him. Sharing their love story online has garnered a lot of support and praise, however, many have questioned Jacquelyn's intentions. Rocky explained: "I get judged a lot obviously, for being a guy who plays video games with his mouth so this one is just a little bit more personal because it's about someone else that I love other than myself. I'd rather they just make fun of me." Negative comments include, 'she wants easy money', 'bet she's f***ing other dudes' and 'congrats on getting yourself a carer'. Jacquelyn spoke in her own defence, "What people don't realise is that coming here I'm a long way from home. I'm a long way from my family and I'm very close to my family so coming here for him is why I'm here. I wouldn't be doing it for any other reason." The couple are able to brush off the haters, instead embracing their life together. "The things that I would like to say to the people that judge me is, mind your own Ps and Qs and Mama said, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say nothing at all."

02:57 Or maybe she thinks he's got some money for her or something.

03:02 Now my family loves her, definitely, for sure.

03:07 "I'm not going back to Australia, but they can have Rocky."
03:11 For my family, it was all about,
03:13 "Who is this guy all the way overseas?"
03:16 I think the biggest change has been since I've been here,
03:19 I'm actually putting on weight at the moment
03:22 because I'm eating so much food.
03:23 We're getting fat because we're eating too much food
03:25 because we're in a healthy relationship.
03:27 It's definitely changed since I've been here.
03:29 They can actually see, you know, the genuine love and care
03:33 for each other from both sides, which is really important.
03:36 I play video games with just my mouth
03:38 using a device called a QuadStick.
03:41 And it's basically just an analog with three holes on it
03:44 that you can sip or puff and do.
03:46 All these actions go into the back of the QuadStick
03:49 into a printed circuit board.
03:50 And then you assign all those actions to an Xbox controller,
03:55 a PS4 controller, or keyboard and mouse.
03:58 And that's all I use for gaming and streaming.
04:01 Started off pretty bad.
04:03 And over the years, I've gotten better and better
04:06 to the point where I'm usually better
04:08 than most of the people I play against.
04:10 He definitely carries me in a lot of games as well,
04:13 which is good, but I can still clutch
04:14 some of the bites in the wind.
04:16 He won't admit it though.
04:17 She needs me.
04:19 There's a lot of, you know, relationship adversities,
04:22 I would say, just because we are an inter-able couple.
04:24 Plus being long distance, there was a lot of doubters.
04:27 People just didn't believe that it would last,
04:30 but we're here to prove them wrong.
04:33 - When we're out in public,
04:34 I definitely feel judged sometimes.
04:36 - I think they look at us and they think I'm a carer.
04:39 And then, you know, their perspective changes
04:41 when they realize I'm not.
04:42 We do get looked at a lot though.
04:44 People will stare.
04:45 - The worst reaction that I get is when most guys are like,
04:49 they always say like, what am I doing wrong?
04:52 I'm kind of like, well, what do you mean, dude?
04:53 I, you think I am good looking or I don't have game?
04:56 Like, I'm just like, you're kind of insulting me
04:59 and they don't realize they're insulting me.
05:01 I get judged a lot, obviously,
05:03 just being a guy who plays video games with his mouth.
05:05 So this one is just a little bit more personal
05:07 'cause it's, you know, about someone else that I love
05:09 other than myself, which I'd rather
05:11 they just make fun of me or something.
05:13 - Sometimes it can be really mean.
05:15 And then there's like the ones that I think
05:17 that I would cheat on him and there'll be like,
05:21 into my DMs, people like will ask me for some lewd photos
05:26 and they'll pay me for it and Rocky doesn't have to know.
05:29 And like, it's really weird.
05:32 - I just tell her to send stuff that's like
05:34 from someone else on the internet and take the money.
05:36 But she won't.
