00:00 In today's Londoners Diary we're reporting on the parents at a London private school
00:03 who are trying to stop Nigel Farage from speaking to their children.
00:06 So if you don't know who he is, Nigel Farage is the politician who gave us Brexit, UKIP,
00:11 all that kind of thing, and now he's been invited to give a talk to students at Latimer
00:15 Upper School in Hammersmith about politics.
00:17 But a group of parents at the £20,000 a year school are absolutely determined to stop him
00:22 from airing his anti-immigration views to their kids.
00:24 So we've seen the WhatsApp group where the parents are organising their campaign to get
00:27 this talk cancelled and they're really not happy about it.
00:31 The students on the other hand don't seem too bothered.
00:33 One sixth former told us everyone is quite excited about the talk and another said that
00:37 it's going to get heated in the school hall.
00:39 Now the school said they won't cancel the event later this month because "it's important
00:43 that students are exposed to a range of views".
00:46 So we naturally asked Farage himself what he thinks about this and he said "Wealthy
00:51 London parents who work in the corporate world clearly want their children to be blinkered".
00:55 So what do you think?
00:56 Farage be allowed to talk in our schools.
