00:00 We never really like to ask about it, but obviously we've seen the Premier League come
00:03 out with a report into VAR over the last 24 hours. 20 errors so far this season. I know
00:10 you've spoken quite passionately about the subject before, but do you feel as though
00:14 the system is currently working as it should?
00:17 No, if you've only made 20 mistakes in the whole season, then it's fine. It's something
00:28 I don't want to get dragged into because I think I'm in a position now where it's important
00:36 that we don't seem to be deflecting. I have to be looking at what I can do, I have to
00:42 be looking at what my players can do and everything around it. I think if you go back through
00:47 each and every game, the post-match analysis that we've done, you will see what kind of
00:53 the trend is in what I've said this season. But to bring it back now is not relevant for
01:00 me.
01:01 You said after the Luton game there were no consequences if things aren't right with the
01:06 VAR decision. I'm just wondering, if there are any changes you'd like to see made that
01:12 would actually make the system work better?
01:18 You're asking valid questions, so there's nothing wrong with the questions, but you're
01:22 asking it to the wrong person at the moment in terms of I haven't spent a single second
01:26 of my day thinking about how they should adapt policy towards the VAR. I just don't have
01:33 the time for that. I just hope that they get it right and I just hope that towards the
01:39 end of the season it all balances out. In the end, I mainly don't want to be… There's
01:47 moments where you can reflect on these things, but I feel when we are where we are, one thing
01:55 we can't do is deflect or give the impression to deflect. We have to be responsible for
02:00 our own destiny and all these things, hopefully it balances out.
