00:16 Export growth, in line with the IMF's forecast, that global trade will increase by 33% in 2004, compared to 0.4% in 2023.
00:28 The purchasing management index, S&P, also increased to 49.5 points in February 2024, which is the highest since September 2022.
00:45 This is an early sign of the recovery of the manufacturing sector.
00:50 The industrial export index increased by 43% in January 2024, compared to a negative 0.03% in December 2023.
01:05 The other is the national investment. We have announced in 2023 that the total domestic and foreign investment, which was approved, is Rp329.5 billion, which is the highest achievement in the history of the country.
01:27 This is truly amazing. And this is not just because of one person or one ministry, but because of the network and cooperation of all parties who are working together.
01:42 This is a declaration. How about the success of the project? 74% of the foreign projects that were approved were ready or in progress.
01:58 The value of construction work is at a high level, which is Rp31.5 billion in 2023, compared to Rp26 billion in 2022.
02:11 This means an increase in construction, which is proud.
02:18 In March 2024, we achieved an interest in foreign investment of Rp76.1 billion.
02:30 This includes the new success of our trade mission to Australia, Germany and France by MITI.
02:41 There is also a rise in concerns, because our proximity to China causes us to take a more pragmatic approach.
02:55 We do not have a military policy problem with them. There are some issues of demand in the South China Sea, but it does not point towards tension or hostility.
03:13 We have succeeded in the largest oil field in the region, but we succeeded without any interference.
03:30 In Hamburg, we had a very good reception. Hundreds of companies in Germany, large companies, in a special event, wearing black ties.
03:45 I saw the film "The Argentine James Bond".
03:48 And it is true that the hotel was the hotel of the James Bond film.
03:52 But I'm old, I can't pretend to be James Bond.
03:57 And the reception was very good. That's what they know.
04:03 So they said, "Okay, we disagree with you on this, but it's okay, we move on."
04:09 And in terms of investment, there was no negative effect. I am grateful, Alhamdulillah.
04:13 I am also worried, because I have to take care of it.
04:16 Now we are doing it, they boycott us, we are a problem too.
04:20 But I am grateful, Alhamdulillah, to the US, Europe, especially Germany, for their high investment.
04:28 And after NVIDIA came in, they still consider Malaysia a hub for this area.
