00:18 He was one of the guys we featured and said,
00:20 "Look, this is gonna turn around."
00:21 Whatever you think about Corey Seeger
00:23 and his injury history,
00:24 he's a better hitter than what he showed.
00:26 And guess what?
00:27 He's shown you exactly who he is yet again.
00:29 The Texas Rangers have been responding.
00:31 I mean, the Texas Rangers right now find themselves
00:33 in kind of a cluster in this American League West
00:36 where it's the pitching staff, basically,
00:39 of the Seattle Mariners until they find somebody
00:41 to give Julio Rodriguez some lineup protection.

00:44 can we just get Julio Rodriguez some lineup protection,

00:49 But until then, I mean,
00:50 you're seeing Houston kind of rebound a little bit.
00:52 You're seeing Texas rebound a little bit.
00:54 Yomesh Shurzer eventually comes back for this team.
00:56 You think he's starting to throw again.
00:58 But Corey Seeger, eight home runs in the last 15 days,
01:01 13 RBI, hitting 360 with a 1500 OPS.
01:04 Yeah.
01:05 Like that's an incredible run for Corey Seeger.
01:07 And when you see guys like Corey Seeger get hot,
01:10 guys like Aaron Judge, guys who are elite,
01:13 that's when you start banging those total base props.
01:16 That's when you start looking for the RBI props.
01:19 You start making money off these guys
01:21 because baseball is a game of streaks.
01:23 When guys get locked in
01:24 and the ball looks as big as a beach ball to them,
01:26 you have to invest in them.
01:28 Not just in fantasy, but in the wagering market.
01:31 It's a perfect thing where you start looking at
01:32 who's hot in the last five, seven days.
01:34 And you see certain players
01:35 or players who are taking a lot of walks.
01:36 That's always a good indication
01:37 that they're seeing the ball well.
01:39 When you see guys who are struggling,
01:41 all of a sudden they start to take a couple of walks.
01:43 Corey Seeger, after that struggle,
01:44 I want to say that was one of the conversations we had.
01:46 I said, but if you look,
01:48 last couple of days, he's walking more.
01:50 That's a good indicator that he's going to get hot.
01:52 And look at the last two weeks, look how good he has been.
01:54 So look for these hitters that are struggling.
01:56 Guys were starting to walk and pull themselves out of it
01:59 because that means they're starting to see the ball better.
02:00 When you see the ball better,
02:01 you start hitting the ball better.
02:03 And then the adverse happens too.
02:04 Guys who are just so cold,
02:05 it starts to take you out of your game mentally.
02:07 And Jose Ramirez, another guy too,
02:09 has been red hot recently.
02:11 I know he's kind of mouthed off a little bit
02:12 saying that he is as good as Barry Bonds.
02:15 Not quite.
02:16 I wouldn't quite go there.
02:17 Some of the numbers though, are eerily close
02:21 in his age to what Barry Bonds did.
02:24 Again, pre-special vitamins.
02:26 But here, seven home runs, 19 RBI over the last 15 days,
02:29 hitting 350 himself with a 1353 OPS.
02:33 The guy's been on fire.
02:34 Josh Naylor still heading for power,
02:36 although batting average lacking behind a little bit.
02:38 But you mentioned Fry in that lineup's been great.
02:41 The Guardians are a team right now that are hot.
02:43 And Jose Ramirez, to me,
02:46 is one of these perennial MVP candidates
02:48 that just does not get enough credit.
02:50 A couple of years ago,
02:51 he gave the Guardians a hometown discount.
02:52 And I think the Guardians should be very grateful
02:54 that he did, 'cause he is an elite player.
02:56 And he's reminding us of that fact this year.
