00:00Small trade in the NBA, Alex Caruso for Josh Giddey.
00:07You know, Giddey, I think, overachieved at one point.
00:10Now he goes to Chicago, Caruso in the final year of his deal.
00:15Does this help either team a little bit more by getting these individual players or just
00:19moving baggage along here?
00:21What do you think?
00:22No, I think it's a fantastic trade for the Thunder.
00:24I mean, Giddey obviously had worked his way out of the rotation during the playoffs.
00:29I still think he's a very good young player.
00:31He's not even 22 yet, and he does a lot of things well.
00:34He actually shot a career-high three, career-high from the free-throw line, so I wouldn't give
00:38up on him yet by any means.
00:40But you get a guy like Caruso, all-defensive player, shot over 40% from three on a relatively
00:47decent volume last year, just a smart player, fits in perfectly.
00:50I mean, they got a chance next year.
00:52They already had one of the top defenses in the league.
00:54They got a chance next year to throw out three all-defensive players, and SGA's fantastic
01:01too.
01:02I mean, maybe four.
01:03And Jalen Williams is no slouch either in their starting lineup.
01:06They still need some height.
01:07They still need some rebounding.
01:08But I just think that's a perfect trade for the Thunder.
