00:00But what we've got in Cleveland today is really interesting between the Browns and the Cowboys.
00:07Two teams that were in the playoffs last year, but two teams who enter this year with some
00:12uncertainty.
00:13The Browns get into the playoffs largely due to Joe Flacco getting off the couch and being
00:18a star for them.
00:19Wins comeback player of the year.
00:21Questions with Deshaun Watson.
00:22People banking on this Browns defense to be great.
00:25Spoiler, I'm low on Cleveland this year.
00:27I think they're under their win total.
00:29The defense can take a step back and I'm completely out under Deshaun Watson.
00:33As far as Dallas goes, we also have questions.
00:35I think losing Dan Quinn is one of the biggest losses any team had all offseason long.
00:40And while they still have Dak and CeeDee Lamb offensively, there is not much beyond that.
00:47It is a really interesting spot where I feel like many people today, at least for me, are
00:52choosing between the lesser of two evils.
00:54Who do you dislike more when picking a side here?
00:57How do you see it, Joe, between the Cleveland Browns and the Dallas Cowboys?
01:00I have to go with the home team and that's why I favor Cleveland in regards to this matchup.
01:04Even though Nick Chubb is out, he's on the pup list, it'll be Jerome Ford and the rushing
01:08attack his total right now is 49 and a half.
01:10You still have statistically, Kev, one of the better secondaries in the NFL.
01:15Cleveland only allowed 167 passing yards per game in the early part of last year.
01:19They were more dominant and then to your point, fell off and tailed off towards the second
01:24half of the regular season.
01:25But I still believe in Miles Garrett and their ability to get pressure on Dak Prescott
01:30and to shut down the rushing attack, Donnie.
01:31I mean, Rico Dado, old man Zeke and Dalvin Cook aren't scaring anybody.
01:36As long as they shut down the run and force Dak Prescott into predictable third down situations,
01:41I think they grind out a win today.
01:43Let's understand one thing, too.
01:44You look at the Dallas quarterback situation.
01:46Dak, once long-term money, didn't get it.
01:48He'll be fine.
01:49He's going to be paid 60 plus million dollars next year, so no issues there.
01:51CeeDee Lamb got his money.
01:52You know who else didn't get their money here?
01:54That's the head coach, Mike McCarthy, living on a prayer this year, hoping they do what?
01:58Make a championship run, which we don't think is going to take place.
02:01So I'm a little bit down entering into this, but if we are looking at the line itself,
02:04it's minus two and a half.
02:05So roughly a coin flip in this game, and I do believe that's the case.
02:08Usually myself, I'm like, Dallas' offense, Cleveland's got weapons out there.
02:13Where can we place a bet on the over?
02:14I like the under guys, 40 and a half.
02:16Both of these offensive lines are going to be questionable.
02:18They're going to be under siege from those defensive lines.
02:20So I don't know how clean of a performance we get.
02:22But the one thing, if you said, Donnie, what are you worried most about this game?
02:25It's not actually the tackle situation for the Browns.
02:27You know what it is, Kevin?
02:31Sean Watson's arm.
02:33It's bad.
02:34Very bad.
02:35Are we just going to like look by that like, oh, he's got dead arm already.
02:38Look, so I love Dallas in this game.
02:41I'm lower on down.
02:42Go ahead.
02:43We'll go ahead.
02:44No, no, no.
02:45Oh, here we go.
02:46Here we go.
02:47You're usually across this chair.
02:48You see weakness.
02:49I'll come at you.
02:50I'll come at you hard.
02:51All right.
02:52I'm telling you right now, Donnie Jedrick Willis is already out.
02:55Yes.
02:56We've already got correct.
02:57Conklin questionable.
02:58Correct.
02:59So Deshaun Watson's going to go out there with both tackles missing against Micah Parsons.
03:03That spells disaster.
03:05Somebody to take a sack.
03:06And I and I honestly, in a way, I wish I could come in with that.
03:10Here's my thing, man.
03:11I do think that Dallas could end up having a disastrous season.
03:14It could spill out.
03:15But it's also on the board that the Cowboys do what they always do under Michael McCarthy.
03:18Yeah.
03:19They win 19 games, cruise right into the playoffs, battle back and forth with the Eagles for
03:23the division.
03:24Yeah.
03:25And then they'll disappoint the playoffs.
03:26Dallas has a dog here.
03:27Surprising to me.
03:28I think they win this football game.
03:30Also listen, Dak high level.
03:34Can he cross the finish line?
03:35The answer feels like no.
03:36Yeah.
03:37We see there's a huge gap between Dak Prescott and Deshaun Watson.
03:38Oh, absolutely.
03:39213 and a half is Deshaun's number today.
03:42Right.
03:43We talked about it.
03:44Donnie and I did off air.
03:45Deshaun Watson doesn't have a 300 yard performance under his belt in a Cleveland Browns
03:50uniform in a year and a half.
03:51You mentioned Joe Flacco.
03:52He had four 300 yard performances at the end of the regular season to catapult them into
03:57the playoffs.
03:58Didn't step up in the loss to Houston, but that doesn't matter.
04:01He made those playmakers around him better.
04:04That's why I actually sort of lean to Deshaun Watson.
04:07Even with the dead on 213 and a half, they have to throw the football.
04:10You have to challenge that defense over the top to open up the rushing attack.
04:14Because if I'm the defensive coordinator now today, Donnie, I'm taking away Jerome Ford.
04:19Yes.
04:20I'm forcing Deshaun Watson to throw the football down the field.
04:22Let me see you get it to Omari Cooper.
04:24Let me see you get it to Jerry Judy and Joku coming out in regards to short to intermediate
04:30routes.
04:31If he can't do it, then that's game on, right?
04:33Then I score first game over and then Dallas should win in a route.
04:37But that's why I do feel that he gets over his total today.
04:40And that's why I lean to the Cleveland Browns for the simple fact that they're playing at
04:45home.
04:46If this game was in big day, I wouldn't like it.
04:48I wouldn't like it.
