00:00At least 112 Palestinian children died of malnutrition in the Gaza Strip Wednesday as a result of the Israeli regime's siege against the enclave.
00:09According to an international organization, the figure brings the total death toll from starvation and malnutrition in the area to 269 since October 2023.
00:18The situation has been the result of Israeli policy of extermination, which maintains a strict blockade in the region, preventing food, medicines and humanitarian aid in general from entering the enclave.
00:30On the other hand, the World Health Organization confirmed that malnutrition levels in Gaza have reached alarming figures with almost one in five children under the age of five suffering from acute malnutrition.
00:42Similarly, the United Nations Children's Fund warned that, on average, 112 children in Gaza fall into the category of undernourished every day.
