00:00Racy Abrams who I love was like I've been working with him and I love the way the production sounded
00:03and I think we spoke on Instagram and then just kind of ended up trying it out and with any
00:09like creative partnership it's always like a little bit of like feeling each other out and I feel like we
00:12just clicked pretty quickly and the first song we made was that song Porchlight which was like okay so we're
00:17making cool music and he's like a wizard on production and he'd kind of like I call it caving or
00:20he just sent me to like a little sound booth and I would just like sit in there and write
00:24something and we'd go out and he would track it and like I would come out and it'd be like
00:27a fully produced song and we would just like put it all together.
00:29It allowed me to like make music without having someone else like guiding me necessarily but like there to support
00:35and he's really good at like adding what the song needs instead of trying to like direct everything about the
00:40lyrics.
00:40Just like guiding you.
00:41Yeah I feel like I write lyrics and melodies a lot of my own and like whenever someone's like trying
00:46to push those into a different direction I find myself like people pleasing a little bit just trying to use
00:51what they brought in and so he kind of knew that I wanted to do that part myself and he'd
00:54let me do that myself and then he would add in all of his amazing production which like helped me
00:58feel like the song was really good.
00:59He seems like the most relaxing chill guy he's so chill I was like so much stress and like it's
01:05hard to be stressed around that guy he's just like so relaxed the calming presence kind of like a therapist
01:09honestly.
