00:00Do you think Europe can face the giant SpaceX?
00:05Europe has its own excellence.
00:08Of course, SpaceX is in the news scene quite often,
00:11but let me just recall that Europe is really excellent
00:15among the world's best in many domains.
00:17I take Earth observation as one example.
00:19We have the best Earth observation program in the world.
00:22We have in navigation the most accurate navigation system
00:27in the world called Galileo.
00:28In space science, we have some of the best telescopes
00:31to explore our universe in the world.
00:34So we have really excellent flagship programs in space.
00:38And yes, we have a lot of excellence in Europe.
00:42Europe can be very proud of that.
00:44Also, Italy has a very strong space power.
00:46This is something that I'm really promoting and developing
00:49with the countries, with the Italian government,
00:51with other governments of these member states.
00:54But yes, Europe is excellent.
00:56A bit smaller compared to the United States.
00:58in terms of funding.
00:59But what we do with this funding is outstanding.
01:02It's quite a miracle of what technologies we are developing
01:05for our European citizens and our European economies.
01:09and higher education.
01:09Thank you.
01:10One, two, three, four, four, three, four, five
01:12and pitchers.
01:12This is a partnership.
01:13One, two, three, four, five, six.
01:13Grazie.
