00:01I think more girls probably don't skate because they think that they're not
00:06really allowed to or they won't be good at it or other people would judge them.
00:12I don't know I just feel free when I'm skateboarding especially like coming
00:15home after work it's nice to be able to just get out jump on a board coast
00:20around the city. It's nicer to know there are other females that enjoy
00:25skateboarding as well you feel a little bit empowered having females with you skate.
00:30You need real support for skateboarding. Something that motivates you is like
00:35having your friend there do that trick and then you're gonna try to do it too.
00:38And when it comes to skating if for a girl most of the time there aren't other
00:43girlfriends to skate with so girls get be motivated. When guys see me like being
00:49able to skate around they're just either like confused or really like amazed.
00:55Skating will make you feel free and give you confidence the same way putting on
00:59makeup makes you feel the same way putting on a nice dress.
01:02I'll be having a really shitty time emotionally and then all of a sudden
01:07I'll just like cruise around or like go to the ramp or like meet up with people and
01:12it just feels so positive. Mentally it like really is empowering in a lot of ways
01:16to get on the speed board and cruise around.
