00:00Hey guys, I'm live. Welcome to VidCon 2017. What's up guys? It's Lucy Fink. I'm here with Refinery29 at VidCon
00:15in Anaheim, California. Do you see the action? It's behind me right now.
00:21Hey guys, if you're here, comment on this stream and say, hey, I'm here. Let me know if you can
00:27hear me. Let me know how the audio sounds. I'm doing well. How are you, Luce? Hi, Zoe. Hi, Genesis.
00:36Hi, Sarah. Also, if you're here and this stream is doing well and you can hear me and you're super
00:42excited to be in this live stream, give it a thumbs up.
00:45Just before we get started, because we have so much fun coming at you in the next 15 minutes or
00:51so on this stream. All right. Beauty by Lexi just asked me, how is the food? That is a great
00:56question because right down there, our food trucks just parked, hanging out, waiting for me to come down.
01:04And very soon, I'm going to go down and I'm going to talk to you about all of the amazing
01:09food that we have at VidCon. I'm going to talk to you about what's going on here and show you
01:13around.
01:14I'm sure many of you sometimes sit at home and see all this stuff about VidCon and you're like, what
01:19is VidCon and what is happening there and what's going on?
01:22Lily Rose just asked me, what is my favorite thing here? Well, I mean, there are like a million things
01:28that are my favorite thing.
01:29But I think the number one thing that I love is how many different YouTubers are here just like roaming
01:36about, standing down below.
01:38Anytime a new YouTuber walks down there, people go crazy. People go nuts.
01:44So just to give you a little list of some of the people that I've hung out with so far
01:49at VidCon and who we've made videos with for Refinery29.
01:53So it's coming soon. Don't forget to stay subscribed to our channel for these videos.
01:57Joey Graceffa, Megan Battoon, Brooklyn and Bailey, the Merrill twins, Patrick Starr.
02:08Who else did we hang out with? There are so many people.
02:14Lord DIY. Yes, Charlotte Smith. Lord DIY is here and I made a video with her.
02:19And yes, there are plenty of other people from Refinery29 here.
02:23We have our whole production team here.
02:25We have lots of our development people here.
02:28We're going out for a nice lunch with the Refinery29 team.
02:31This is my outfit of the day.
02:35This is dangerous.
02:37But it is this beautiful pink romper from Mixology and I'm obsessed with it.
02:43Oh, Nanny MUA. Of course Nanny MUA was here.
02:46I actually did a video with him.
02:49Okay, I'm just increasing the brightness on my phone so I can see you guys.
02:52Hi, everyone. Hi, hi, hi.
02:54Okay, the other thing is I am wearing a backpack.
02:58You know why?
03:00Because everyone wears backpacks at VidCon.
03:03Because you have to stay hydrated.
03:04You have to like hold all of your stuff.
03:06You get things passed out.
03:08And did I see Alicia?
03:11Alicia, no.
03:12I didn't.
03:13But I'm so honored that Claire's vet is here from Hawaii.
03:18I wish I was in Hawaii.
03:20Okay.
03:20Let me tell you where we are.
03:22Backtrack, everyone.
03:23It's Lucy Fink.
03:24What's up?
03:26One thing I want to tell you guys is you really should follow me on Instagram,

03:52I have a whole list of amazing people that I've hung out with at VidCon.
03:57And yes, I will be vlogging for my own channel.
04:00I brought my camera with me,
04:01and I made vlogs with all those people yesterday,
04:03and I'm going to make a vlog for that channel as well.
04:06And it probably will be on Refinery too.
04:09We've been having so much fun.
04:11And let me just tell you where this is.
04:13This is not in L.A.
04:14A lot of people think we're in L.A.
04:16We are just outside of L.A. in Anaheim, California.
04:20I should do five days without a mirror, Carly.
04:22That is a good idea.
04:24It's in Anaheim, California,
04:25which is essentially right next to Disneyland.
04:29Do you guys know where that is?
04:32Who are you asking did I see, Gabby?
04:35Let me know.
04:39It's right next to Disneyland,
04:40and tomorrow we are going to Disneyland.
04:43So I've never been more excited for something in my whole life.
04:46It is at the Anaheim Convention Center.
04:48This is actually a spot.
04:50Lucy Adams.
04:51Lucy Adams.
04:52Yay, yay, yay.
04:54Okay, cool.
04:56It is at the Anaheim Convention Center,
04:58which is where a lot of different conventions are,
05:02and VidCon is always here.
05:03What music is playing right now?
05:04Let me go listen.
05:10Despacito.
05:13Despacito.
05:13Okay, that's what it is.
05:15Can you guys do me a quick favor?
05:17Give this stream a thumbs up
05:19if you can hear me clearly.
05:23I just want to know, you know?
05:25So I see 73.
05:27Oh, just jump to 91.
05:29You guys are great.
05:30You guys are great.
05:31Please just give it that thumbs up
05:33because I want to know if I'm coming through clearly.
05:36Okay, for the people who are asking
05:38if I've met any YouTubers yet,
05:40yes.
05:41I just made 17 videos yesterday.
05:4517.
05:47And do you know what?
05:48It was with Patrick Starr,
05:50Joey Graceffa,
05:51Brooklyn and Bailey,
05:52the Merrill twins,
05:54Manny MUA.
05:55Okay, who else did we make a video with?
05:57Laura DIY.
05:58Laura DIY.
05:59Liza Koshy.
06:00Who was that?
06:01Oh, Liza Koshy.
06:03We made amazing videos.
06:05Okay, Layla,
06:05what is your official job title?
06:07I am a video producer
06:08and a lifestyle host.
06:11Doesn't that sound fun?
06:13Oh, and Carlene asked to say hi to the cameraman.
06:17Hey.
06:18So my cameraman's actually,
06:21this camera's on a tripod right now,
06:22which is why it's so steady and serene,
06:25but he is actually hanging out with me
06:27and coming around
06:28and we're going to be walking through VidCon.
06:30Wait until you see the food
06:31that we get downstairs
06:33because it's something unicorn-esque.
06:36So just stay tuned.
06:37Stay tuned.
06:40I'm so sorry for Nessa
06:41that your connection is bad.
06:43Is anyone else's connection good?
06:45Let me know.
06:48Do I like New York more or LA?
06:50Asked Paula, I think that was.
06:53I'm partial to New York
06:55because that's just where I'm from.
06:56But at the same time,
06:58I'm so amazed by this weather here in California.
07:01I'm like,
07:02why isn't this the weather all the time?
07:04It's so upsetting that New York is so cold in the winter
07:07and this is so warm.
07:09So I love this.
07:10I love this.
07:12Okay, connection is good from so many people.
07:14That's awesome.
07:15I'm about to list out some YouTubers
07:18that we made a video with yesterday
07:19and I would love,
07:21the moment I say the name of someone that you like,
07:24if you could give this stream a thumbs up
07:26because I actually would love to know
07:28who your favorite YouTubers are.
07:31So I'm going to sit
07:31and I'm going to watch the thumbs up button
07:33as I go through names, okay?
07:35So first I'm going to start
07:36with two of the cutest girls I met,
07:39the Meryl twins.
07:40We're at 140 likes right now.
07:41So can you give this video a thumbs up
07:43if you like the Meryl twins?
07:45Do it, do it, do it.
07:49Okay.
07:51A couple people like the Meryl twins,
07:53as it turns out.
07:55We're going to do it this way.
07:57What about Laura DIY?
07:59Give that a thumbs up.
08:02Everyone's like,
08:02I already liked the video stream.
08:05Okay, don't worry.
08:06I understand you guys love all the YouTubers.
08:09So do I.
08:10They're really amazing.
08:12But I think what I want to,
08:13Claire Teresa,
08:14sorry Lucy,
08:15I already liked the video.
08:16That is okay.
08:17That is okay.
08:18My life as Eva is here.
08:21Yes, she is here.
08:22And she's so cute.
08:23I was the most excited
08:25to hang out with John Cozart.
08:26Do you guys like John?
08:28I hung out with John last year at VidCon
08:30and I loved him so much
08:32and we sang a Disney song together.
08:35Actually, if you go to my Instagram account
08:37at Lucy B. Fink,
08:38you can watch that video
08:39of the two of us singing.
08:42It was Aladdin.
08:43And then if you go to my Instagram story right now
08:45and you click on it,
08:46you'll see me and John Cozart
08:48singing Disney part of your world.
08:51So we're like Disney.
08:53We're a Disney duo.
08:54It's not a big deal,
08:55but we sort of really love each other.
08:57I also hung out with Cassie Ho
08:59who I saw last year.
09:01She's blogilates.
09:02She was really awesome.
09:04Okay, Aveline.
09:05Lucy, tell us more.
09:06Oh, I missed your question.
09:07What did you say?
09:08Tell us more about VidCon.
09:10Oh yeah, Joey Graceffa is so,
09:12that blondie 77 says Joey Graceffa is so amazing.
09:16He is.
09:17And something I'm going to show you
09:18when we go outside is that right now,
09:20this whole Anaheim Convention Center
09:22has a lot of posters on it
09:24and Joey Graceffa's face
09:26is blown up like the size
09:28of the Statue of Liberty.
09:30So when you guys see that, you'll die.
09:32Yes, I met Brooklyn and Bailey
09:34and they're so cute.
09:35And then I put a picture
09:37of me and Brooklyn and Bailey
09:38on my Instagram stories.
09:40And everyone,
09:41I got so many comments back
09:42from people saying
09:43that I looked like a sister of theirs,
09:46which is like,
09:48so I'm so honored
09:50that Brooklyn and Bailey
09:51and I could be sisters.
09:54They have the prettiest eyelashes,
09:55just saying,
09:56and they have a new mascara line coming out.
09:58So definitely check that out.
10:00Am I going to make more stop motion videos?
10:02Yes.
10:03And I actually can't remember
10:05who the person was that was writing it,
10:07but someone was asking me
10:08if I prefer Dear Evan Hansen or Hamilton.
10:11That is a big question.
10:14Oh, I just don't know.
10:17Hey, Wanderlust, Laura.
10:20Okay.
10:21For everyone who's here watching,
10:24my boyfriend and my sister
10:26are not here with me.
10:27I'm just here with the Refinery29 crew.
10:29And actually, Rita,
10:30I don't even know if Casey Neistat is here.
10:33But I'm actually about to take the camera
10:35off this tripod
10:36and take you there.
10:39So just stay with me.
10:41Keep your camera rolling in the background.
10:42We are about to go
10:44to the coolest place ever.
10:46Are you guys ready?
10:47Also, keep me in the loop
10:49on like how this audio is
10:51and how the video is
10:52because I want to make sure
10:53you guys can hear me.
10:55And this is the tour time.
10:57It's time for the tour.
10:58See this?
11:00That's where we're headed.
11:02Okay.
11:03Oh, hi.
11:04Hi, hi.
11:04For all the people saying,
11:05say hi.
11:06I'm saying hi.
11:07All right.
11:09I'm finally in Duke.
11:12Oh, it was so hot outside.
11:14And now I'm inside
11:15the Anaheim Convention Center.
11:18This is what it looks like in here.
11:20Like carpeted floors.
11:23Lots of windows.
11:26Am I doing any panels?
11:27Rebecca Miller.
11:28I myself am not doing any panels,
11:30but I will be attending some panels.
11:32Hi, Eden.
11:33Hi, Lucy.
11:35Hi, everyone.
11:36Claire.
11:37You can have a shout out for sure.
11:39Okay.
11:39So we're about to go on the escalator.
11:41Seems a little dangerous
11:42to be holding on to you
11:44on the escalator,
11:45but I'm just going to do it.
11:46Okay?
11:49Thank you for the eyeliner comment.
11:51Okay.
11:52Here I go.
11:53Stepping on to the escalator.
11:57You know, this is some people's fear
11:59to like hold a camera
12:00while getting on the escalator,
12:01but I feel good.
12:03Allison, hi.
12:04Shout out.
12:05And for people that are like,
12:07where are you looking?
12:07I'm looking at the screen
12:08because I'm trying to read your comments.
12:11Am I going to stop by Disneyland?
12:12Yes, Alexis.
12:13I'm going all day tomorrow.
12:15And I'm good.
12:16I'm good, everyone.
12:17I'm good, I'm good, I'm good.
12:19My favorite part so far
12:20was yesterday we shot with 17 YouTubers.
12:24We made the best videos ever.
12:27I did YouTube challenges
12:28with the world's most famous YouTubers.
12:31Things like the powdered donut challenge.
12:34I did the saltine challenge.
12:37For people who are asking,
12:38this is my outfit of the day.
12:41It is a romper from Mixology.
12:44I love it so much.
12:46Thank you guys so much.
12:48You guys are so sweet.
12:49I want this stream
12:51to get to 200 thumbs up right now.
12:54And I'm going to keep talking about it
12:57until it happens.
12:58Okay?
12:59Oh, the next Try Living with Lucy
13:00is actually coming out next week.
13:02And something that I want to tell you guys
13:04is that we're doing something new
13:05with Try Living with Lucy
13:07for one week.
13:08So basically what we're doing
13:09is instead of putting out a video on Friday
13:11where I'm doing...
13:13Oh, my boyfriend's in the stream.
13:15Hey, Michael.
13:16So instead of putting out a video every Friday...
13:20Instead of putting out one video on Friday,
13:21we're putting out five videos.
13:23Every day of the week
13:24is going to be a different video
13:25in that episode.
13:26And that episode that you have to get ready for
13:28is five days of being Instagram famous.
13:33Five days of being Instagram famous.
13:36Hey, Kevin.
13:38Hey, everyone.
13:39Everyone should say hi to Michael
13:40because he is the best boyfriend in the world.
13:43Okay.
13:43I'm sorry about the lag.
13:45I'm going to the crowd.
13:46Sorry about the lag.
13:48I'm going to the crowd.
13:50Yes, Starling Cathy.
13:51That is a great idea.
13:52I will run that by my YouTube squad.
13:55All right.
13:56First of all,
13:57that's the main VidCon sign
13:58that you guys saw on my Instagram yesterday.
14:01Just saying.
14:02Sunburst is going back on
14:03as we exit the building.
14:05Okay.
14:06I hope the lag is gone
14:08because I was just in the craziest spot
14:12of all of VidCon.
14:13And now it's kind of chill.
14:16So this is what I was talking about.
14:18Do you remember when I said
14:19that Joey Grisafa's face
14:20was on the building?
14:22Can you guys see that?
14:26Do you see it?
14:29That is what it looks like outside VidCon.
14:31It's just all of these young people
14:34running around
14:35looking for their favorite YouTube stars.
14:38Everyone is looking.
14:40And it's so funny here
14:41because whenever a major YouTuber
14:43comes out onto this plaza,
14:46people go nuts.
14:47Like some big, big YouTubers
14:50just can't even come outside here
14:52because they get swarmed.
14:55So I've been so happy
14:57with all the people
14:58that have come up to me at VidCon
14:59and been like,
15:00I love your five days videos.
15:02Try living with Lucy.
15:03I'm so honored that there are people here
15:05that watch my videos.
15:06Yes, Emma, I can be your best friend.
15:08And to prove that I can be your best friend,
15:11here is one of the foods
15:14that is sold at VidCon.
15:17This is a unicorn ice cream.
15:21This is cotton candy.
15:23And this is blue vanilla ice cream
15:26with fruity pebbles on it.
15:28So I'm just saying,
15:29like, this is the kind of thing
15:30that happens here.
15:33This is the kind of thing
15:34that happens here.
15:35And now I'm going to take a bite.
15:38Oh God.
15:39It's dripping everywhere.
15:41But I'm going to eat it anyway.
15:45Oh yeah.
15:47Oh yeah.
15:49Should I take a bite of cotton candy?
15:52Yes?
15:53Okay.
15:55On it.
15:58Oh wow.
16:03Holy cow.
16:05Oh my God.
16:08Do I have blue tea?
16:11It tastes so good.
16:13Oh my God, it's so good.
16:16Alright.
16:18As I said,
16:20there are like 12 food trucks over there.
16:23There's a pizza truck.
16:25We got pizza.
16:26Probably saw that on my Instagram.
16:28There is a chili dog truck.
16:30We got dogs.
16:32Cupcake truck.
16:33Ice cream.
16:34I got cold brew this morning.
16:36The food at VidCon
16:38has never been better.
16:40It's never been better.
16:42Detcher, I am 5'7".
16:45Is that okay with you?
16:48Hey everyone.
16:49Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
16:50Thumbs up if this looks unreal.
16:53Give this video a thumbs up.
16:56Alright.
16:57I'm going to eat this later.
16:59But in the meantime,
17:01I wanted to take you on the Ferris wheel.
17:03Okay?
17:04I'm going to take the camera back
17:05even though I'm all sticky.
17:08Switch.
17:10Alright, we're back.
17:12Yay!
17:13We're back!
17:15Okay everyone.
17:15I just ate
17:17the world's best
17:18blue vanilla ice cream
17:20with a cotton candy puff on top.
17:23This live stream,
17:24Kinga,
17:25is not going to go on for much longer.
17:27So, stay tuned.
17:29Please don't end it yet
17:30because we're just
17:30getting to the best part ever.

21:21which is such a little
21:22intimate setting
21:23for YouTubers
21:24to run into their fans.
21:26And I've never seen
21:27something like this.
21:28I've never seen a setting
21:29where people can just
21:30walk out on the floor
21:31and actually run into
21:32the people that they watch
21:33every day on YouTube.
21:35I think it's really awesome.
