00:09but I'm going to do it anyway.

00:13For those of you who don't know, she's a model, actress.
00:17She also has over 2 million followers on Instagram,
00:21so it's really some serious business.
00:23You like to do your makeup without a mirror sometimes.
00:27That's so crazy. I've never done that before,
00:30so I thought it would be kind of fun to do our makeup together
00:33and our hair without a mirror.
00:36Let's do it.
00:37So I'm going to challenge you to try to do my hair and makeup day-to-night look.
00:41So now I just have a pretty light face.
00:44There's cover-up, there's a little bit of winged liner,
00:47and we're going to add powder, some eyeshadow,
00:51we're going to curl the lashes, we're going to do a little bit of the brows,
00:53and we're going to add a juicy red lip and a highlight.
00:56So...
00:57That's a lot.
00:57Are you ready?
00:58I'm ready. All right, let's start.
01:00So we're going to begin by prepping the hair with Curl Hold Spray by GHD,
01:04and this just kind of helps get the hair ready for the curl.
01:10And you can kind of just shake it in,
01:13wait for it to dry a little bit,
01:14because I hate when it does that, like, crazy sizzling sound.
01:18Oh yeah, that's not a cute sound.
01:21This is from the Nocturne Collection,
01:23and it has Trism technology, so it's going to heat up the hair evenly.
01:27And we're going to take about an inch of your hair,
01:31we're going to do what's called the S-Wave,
01:33and we're going to bevel the iron down,
01:37and then up, and then down, and then up.
01:44Got it.
01:45Did I do it? Did it work?
01:47Yeah.
01:47You're really good.
01:49How often would you say you're going to an event or something,
01:52and you have to do your hair and makeup
01:53without having a hairstylist or a makeup artist?
01:55I would say I do myself 75% of my life,
01:59and like 25% of the time I'll have somebody.
02:01But for red carpet, it's definitely usually somebody doing something.
02:06Okay, that feels good.
02:07I think it's, I feel some texture and some heat radiating from there.
02:11Next.
02:12Okay, what's next?
02:13Let's do the lip.
02:14Okay, we're going to use this.
02:16I'm scared.
02:17I've never done any makeup without a mirror before.
02:19So, first we're going to start with lip liner.
02:21Okay.
02:21We're going to go with the red lip today because why not?
02:23So we're going to line the lips.
02:31I cannot believe that you're doing this right now.
02:34She just got her exact lip.
02:36You got your exact lip line, basically.
02:38I know.
02:38In one stroke.
02:40You're doing okay.
02:42I'm just kidding.
02:43It's fine.
02:43That's like you get a B-.
02:45You're doing a good job.

02:54I am right now using this Marc Jacobs red in O Miley.
02:59I'm assuming they mean after Miley Cyrus.
03:02And then after I apply the lipstick, I usually go over the liner just one more time.
03:10So next, let's move on to the eyes.
03:12Let's do, first of all, a curl job.
03:14Oh man.
03:15I've never done this without a mirror.
03:17Have you done this without a mirror?
03:18I mean, yes.
03:21What?
03:22I've been doing it for a long time, so you're skilled.
03:25So next, let's go do a little bit of, oh wait.
03:30Oh wait, look at the mirror.
03:31Don't look.
03:32No cheating.
03:33Put it this way.
03:34I don't really like to do heavy eye when I do a lip.
03:37Yeah, I like that too.
03:38So I think that we should add a little bit of this shadow and what we're going in with
03:41this sort of like.
03:42Yeah, it's kind of, it's kind of like a olive-y shimmer.
03:45So we're going to go with the olive shimmer and then we're also going to tap into the black.
03:49And we're going to rub it between both fingers.
03:52Ooh, I've never done this before.
03:54It's like a, it's a very natural eye shadow.
03:58And then so we're going to like this and now we're going to go to just where the ends of
04:02the eyes are, exactly on the corners.
04:05Hopefully it looks okay.
04:06We have no idea.
04:07And I feel like that's enough.
04:09I don't want to do too much because like I said, the red should really be the star.
04:13So now let's move on to powder and we're going to take our brush and we're just going
04:18to go into the shiny parts, which is the T-zone.
04:21So a little bit on the forehead, a little bit on the nose, a little bit on the chin and
04:26then just in the corners is where I also like to go.
04:29And then we're going to go with the highlight.
04:31This is Barb Gold by Charlotte Tilbury.
04:33And we're just going to go above the cheekbone.
04:39And I like to do the tip of the nose.
04:41Also like to take a little bit on my finger, go on the brow bone.
04:46Get that brow bone highlight.
04:48And then a little bit on the tip of the nose.
04:49So that's that.
04:50We're going to do brows.
04:52And I like to use the Dior Brow Styler.
04:56So the first trick is to brush the brows up.
05:02I usually only fill in the brows where it really needs it, which would be in the base and in
05:06the tip.
05:07So you don't do anything in the middle.
05:08Well, we can see if it makes a difference with this.
05:10So you brush them up and then you just go.
05:12I mean, I don't really know where my, where are my brows?
05:15But I'm going a little bit just outlining because if I can avoid it, I don't want them to be
05:20over lined.
05:21But luckily this color, it's so natural.
05:24Like it really does blend right in.
05:26You can really feather it.
05:32That feels good.
05:34Does it?

05:37Does it look like anything?
05:38I want to do that, but that would be cheating.

05:48So we're going to do the MAC liner just one more time just to make sure that.

05:57Well, it's just like, you never know if you perfected the shape.
06:04I don't even know like where on my lips I'm going.

06:10Now we're going to add the NARS triplex lip gloss to add a juicy finish.
06:17And for this, there is a trick.
06:19You only want to put it in the middle of the lip.
